So, I stopped by this place yesterday, just wanting to enjoy a beer. I asked for a Nenea Iancu, but somehow ended up with a Ciuc instead. I’m guessing the loud music and oh-so-charming atmosphere might have led to the mix-up. When I politely pointed out that I’d been given the wrong beer, I was informed, quite bluntly, that they didn’t care because *apparently*, that’s what I ordered.

I calmly explained that I hadn’t ordered a Ciuc, but the server’s level of concern was touching—she immediately called the bodyguard. Yes, you read that right, the bodyguard. He kindly escorted me outside, informing me that they couldn’t possibly take the untouched beer back. His solution? I should just give it to someone else and buy a new one. How thoughtful.

I declined his generous offer, so he graciously refunded me for the beer and suggested—no, told me—not to bother coming back. All because I had the audacity to point out their mistake. So, what was supposed to be a simple beer turned into me being banned from the establishment. Needless to say, that little incident put a damper on my evening, and I headed home.

And just to clarify, I was nothing but polite the entire time. The bodyguard was also polite, I’ll give him that, but the decision to ban me for absolutely no valid reason was truly a masterclass in professionalism.

One the most iconic places to feel safe and have a great party. The staff is very polite and friendly and the atmosphere and vibe is one of a kind. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pub to chill and enjoy the party!!!

We try to enter and they didn’t let us in and the explanation of bodyguard was “if u are not Romanian u can’t enter without have a reservation”. I think this is honestly racist. So don’t came here if u are not Romanian. Good luck and hope u will fail 🙂 maybe try to change ur bodyguard

Good prices, tailored to a students budget. Good variety of drinks. The location itself seems a bit too dark at times especially when they drop the smok machines (thats usually Saturday nights) but overall a great place to party.

Its racism! I am from India and living in London, I visited Romania and had a good experience so far until I went there, the place was happening, so I tried walking inside with my 2 mates, as the place is free for entry and does not require prior booking. I was stopped at the entrance and was asked to step aside by the bouncer on the gate, while people behind me were entering the pub. Upon asking him politely about the reason for not letting us in, he turned his face around and gave me a dirty look. We walked off straight and we did not want any problems. We were well dressed up and ready for a good time and this place ruined it. Its a shame that you still find such people in this modern era, which shows lack of awareness and knowledge. As a host, they shod welcome tourism and be proud of introducing their culture to us instead they do such disgraceful act. Its a shame.

Had to meet with a couple of friends in this place. It looks like an ordinary pub so to my surprise, i found out at the entrance that appearently you are not allowed to enter with a tshirt or short pants. It's their choice to select their clientele but one star from me for not having this information available beforehand. Strongly suggest to turn around and try the place just across the street, we had a great time there.

1 star because he doesn’t let me in because I’m a beautiful italian girl and maybe he doesn’t like italian people so I think also he is racist. We’re serious by the way. Don’t come here also because one time they gave me hot beers.
