I am a start up company and I called them today asking them to make the background of a logo transparent. The response was "typically we don't do that type of work." Sounds like a big company forgot how they started. I then called a small shop and they said, "yes we will be glad to help, send over the file." 5 minutes later I had the logo and they said "no cost, we remember how it is to start a new business, good luck!" I still wrote a check and mailed it to them. Good ole business values are hard to find these days.
