Mixed experience. I had a pretty helpful tax advice session late last year (although Jim make a math mistake I ended up catching that made a significant difference to the results), but this February when I wanted to get my taxes done we ended up stuck in an email loop of "when can you come in?" "can you tell me what documents to bring first?" and eventually he stopped responding to me entirely. I think we just have a communication style mismatch - I like to know how to prepare before going somewhere in person, and they just want me to come in and then sort things out. If you're more the old-fashioned do-things-in-person-by-hand type this place is probably a better fit.

He’s also very personable, and responsive in our communications. He prepares both our personal and a small business return and his turnaround time is very quickly. There is no reason to choose a large impersonal firm to do your taxes, personalized service and experience does make a difference. We recommend him without hesitation!
