Come on ..James Joyce Irish pub is legit. Meeting Brian at the front door set the bar high and it kept going up
Bartender Shannon (?) is fantastic. Food is incredible. Got to recommend.... Jameson Burger is phenomenal good beers on tap. Shannon made a fantastical old fashion for couple of us. Come one come all. Shannon's energy is contagious. Bartender checks in with everyone coming through door to see how the day was.
Bartender at another place recommended. This place did not disappoint.

I like to stay in Ybor because of all of the amazing places you can visit just walking around. James Joyce bar makes you feel at home from the moment you step in . I didn’t get a picture of all the things I got from here because it was too good not to just dig in . O also recommend the trivia nights - great people and lots of fun ! 🤩

My wife and I spent the night in town to catch a cruise the next morning. James Joyce Irish Pub was within walking distance of our hotel so we decided to give it a try. It was warm beautiful night so we sat out on the patio. The food, atmosphere were great and the customer service was awesome thanks to our server Shannon. We look forward to visiting again.

Solid Irish bar, not necessarily authentic, but the vibes are. Food looked good but I didn't eat there. Would if I were to go back though. Seemed like the sort of place to get into a massively regrettable shame spiral... But in a good way.

This place is wonderful. The atmosphere is comfortable and lively, the drinks and food hit home, and the service is perfect (ask for Lizzy. She was amazing!). I went out on a limb and tried their vegan burger and was immediately prompted to leave this review. This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I never expected to find the perfect burger (the perfect VEGAN burger) at a pub, but I’m so happy I ordered it. This is definitely my new favorite spot

Great pub find!
This charming pub in the Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa has a comfortable warm atmosphere, great food, the friendliest staff, and tasty food.
I had the French onion burger which comes with fries. The beef was cooked properly to how it was ordered and had a yummy French onion soup taste. The natural hand cut French fries were cooked perfect also, and were so very good.
A soda with this meal came to $20 with tax. The volume of food was probably too much for the average diner and I had a hard time finishing all of it but it was so good that I had to.
The staff couldn't have been better and I felt happy being here.
I recommend going here for a tasty meal!

This is your typical Irish Pub. Fair amount of regulars as well as people just off the street. Very dark inside and loud, but what else would you expect from an Irish Bar? Not the best atmosphere if you don't like loud drunks but again, it's a bar so...

The menu isn't too cluttered with options and includes specialties like Shepard's Pie. Plenty of beer choices too.

We ordered the wings and the Cuban sandwich. The Cuban was very delicious and came with plenty of fries. The wings were a little underwhelming. Not sure if that is because they boast about them on the menu. They were ok in size, not huge, pretty much an average size. They were tender, cooked well but lacked any exciting taste. These were the Garlic Parmesan wings.

The waitress was very nice and made sure everything was OK.

Prices are on par with the current rise in restaurant pricing however they tack on a service fee as well. The service fee is explained as a pass on to the customer for rising credit card processing. IMO, that's a cost of doing business and should be incorporated in their pricing, not specifically called out. Maybe they should offer a separate cash price but again, to call it out specifically seems a bit much. It's not a huge fee so why it can't be rolled into the current pricing I don't know, it's not like the menu prices were exceptionally low.

Gave 4 stars on the food since one dish was great and one was just so so. You'll have to go and see for yourself.

Katie did an amazing job. She was very upbeat throughout the service. Got our food to us quickly and efficiently. Kept us refilled on drinks. And it truly is the best Buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever had. And I live off of Buffalo chicken sandwiches when I go to restaurants in general. Will definitely be going back another time, and recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves good food and good service with a smile. Got here.
