The food was amazing! My friend had a British burger and fries. My daughter had a build your own burger and fries, and I had a blackend chicken teaser salad. We all loved what we got. The serving size was enough to take half home each. The price was right!

I absolutely love going to Shakespeare for a burger and beer. They are some of the best in town. The staff is friendly and the food is consistent. It’s a place you go to kick bag and shot the shit a while. They always have the best corn beef and hash for Saint Patrick’s Day. I’d say the only set back is that parking can sometimes be problematic, the seating is pretty uncomfortable and the space is so dark. Other than that I love the place.

A very authentic British pub. The menu is full of bar favorites. Didn’t know where to start. A great craft beer menu as well. Full of people inside and out. The place was busy and the staff was stretched thin but I never felt left out. Highly recommend.

While this was our first visit it won’t be our last. While we came for the famed Brie hamburger what we found was that the service was above level for a pub environment. We sat outside with our dog and before we could get t our table we had ice water in a bowl waiting for our girl. We ordered fish and chips and the burger. Food was on par for pub but like I said the servers were attentive engaging pleasurable and even offered a sample drink for us to try.

The Cole slaw was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Tartar which I’m not really a fan of was good fish was great and burger cooked to a perfect medium rare.

While we enjoyed a couple of vodka seltzers our server sampled us this ice tea vodka product which was good.

1st time. After reading many reviews and doing a search for good burgers I decided to give this place a try.

Based on reviews it wad made clear the burger would be cooked rare.

Since I like my burger more well done I specifically asked for "Well Done, extra well, no pink".

As you can see from the picture it wasn't even close to well done.

I would chalk it up to maybe not hearing my order but this place was not busy at all.

The meat looks top quality just not cooked enough for me.

Fries were good though. Just feel bad I wasted 20 for a burger I could not even eat.

Wife and I had the brie and caramelized onion burgers. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Wife agreed. Service was was a bit lacking, but they'll were getting busy. Cozy traditional Irish/English pub setting with a few outside tables and nice bar. If your looking for a great burger, look no further!

The bbq chicken tacos were ok, felt like something was missing in flavor/season. They have a lot of beers to select from. Gives locals vibes kinda bar.
