Kasey’s Tavern is the perfect neighborhood spot—no frills, just great beer, good vibes, and plenty of TVs for the game. Stopped in for a couple of local craft beers ($8 each) and a basket of pretzels with cheese ($10), and everything hit the spot. The beer list is stacked with solid choices, and the bartenders actually know their stuff. No obnoxious crowds, just a chill, old-school Chicago bar where you can actually hear your friends talk. Spent about $25 and could’ve stayed all night. If you’re looking for a low-key, authentic spot to catch a game and sip something good, Kasey’s is it.

Kasey's Tavern is the real deal when it comes to sports bars in the Loop. It’s got that classic vibe, with TVs everywhere and a solid beer list that’ll have you set for the game. I grabbed a cold craft beer and their famous wings, which were fire. Perfect balance of crispy and saucy, and they hit the spot after a long day. The crowd is chill, and it’s a great place to grab a drink without feeling cramped. Spent about $25 for a beer and a basket of wings, which is super reasonable for the quality. If you're in the area and wanna watch the game, this is the place to be.

Kasey’s Tavern is the spot for catching a game and grabbing a cold one. Classic dive bar vibes with a top-tier beer list—seriously, they’ve got everything. I went in to watch the Bears and had a couple pints of their craft beers on tap, plus their chicken wings—honestly, best I’ve had in a while. The wings were crispy and saucy, just how you want ‘em. I dropped about $25 for a couple of beers and wings, and it was well worth it. If you’re looking for a chill, no-frills place to hang with friends and enjoy the game, Kasey’s is where it’s at.

I am from Australia and visited Kasey's on my first night. Excellent Beer variety.
I have visited every day of my visits due to the above and also the excellence/kindness of Taylor the Bartender whom had a great knowledge of the Beers and spoiled ALL her customers....I will surely return on my next trip to Chicago. THANK YOU Taylor and Kasey's .

Update: I came back several times over my last visit. Still my favorite bar in the south loop so far. Didn't try the food this trip either, but it looks and smells good. I just read my book and drank Two Hearted. Sometimes it was quite, sometimes it was standing room only. Good local hangout.

The dive bar I was looking for. Extensive selection of beers, liquor and dark wood draped atmosphere. A classic old bar feel, with no pretentious atmosphere. Stopped by for a couple of beers while out and about in the area. Not really much to say about it, they do have a kitchen but I didn't order food this go around. I could easily see this as my neighborhood bar if I was so lucky to be able to swing that.
