Do you love Fireball? This bar is for you!!! There is a GIANT fireball inflatable to greet you which is, to put it modestly, is majestic. Then, the food! My stars, my friends and I ordered the “Mac wedges” which I think are the absolute best version of arancini I’ve ever had. This place may seem modest, but it’s a true hidden gem. Hopefully the Michelin inspectors take note!

I had cranberry and vodka and he had an anti- hero draft beer. We got service right away. The vibe was very relaxing and fun. They do have food. the people next to us ordered a burger and fries and it looked good. I definitely want to come back and try their food. They have outdoor seating and a bunch of tables inside.

I visited Chicago as a solo traveller from Scotland. As this bar was around the corner from my accommodation I decided to frequent it multiple times. The staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area. I enjoyed drinks with the regular patrons as well as out of towners! A great bar for drinks with a wholesome feel to it! I am returning in September 2025 and will be attending this bar again. Thanks for everything!

We spent an evening here (travelled to Chicago from Cornwall, England) and had a fabulous time. Bartenders Kirsten and Chelsea were amazing--friendly and fun--and Gus at the door was kind enough to pass a message to a guy my friends had been admiring from afar!! He was married (sad times) but bought us a drink and stopped by to chat a bit...as did quite a few in the venue that night. As my friends and I had originally met in our own local pub back home, it was great to find an equally welcoming place in Chicago!

Any negative reviewers must be antisocial and not familiar with the English/Irish practice of actually talking to people in pubs!! Definitely a 10/10 night out.

We spent quite a bit there as we just couldn't leave! Prices were probably average, but less than we'd anticipated.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Tried to go to this spot for the Packers game with massive packers fans, decked in their gear. Was met with immediate hostility by the “supposed” bouncer who we just thought was a fellow fan stepping out for a smoke. He never communicated needing IDs and just continued to be rude to us - we honestly thought he was joking so tried to keep it light and banter along. Once he finally said he needed IDs we obliged and he instantly flipped his lid, cussing us out and told us “he doesn’t need us, you’re out of here”. For a Packers bar, what a wild way to treat fellow Packers fans just trying to watch the game. Don’t waste your time here. The gentleman at the door has some serious anger issues and I hope he finds some semblance of joy in his life. Eventually.

Funny enough we’d been there before and had a reasonably fine experience, but that man was not there and reading other reviews I’m sensing a theme…

Called to see if they could put on MU game and for us to watch - 11am Saturday. friendly guy said sure. We get there at 11:15 and not one patron in the bar. Young bartender asks for IDs. Our 15 and 18 year old kids were not allowed to be in the empty bar to eat a burger and watch a college basketball game. Its not a state law either. Common sense has been lost. Won’t be back.

Edit: Jimbo puts out dog biscuits every day and water. Dogs may sit on the patio (if they behave). He did tell me my cat Elwood is not invited.
Felix outdid himself, yet again! Today's special fresh from the Farmers' market: stuffed banana peppers. Everything here is so fresh... and great service.
For Lent, Felix made a seafood special every Friday. This one is homemade ravioli stuffed with cheese and herbs in a lobster sauce.
