The Junction Pub is a solid neighborhood bar—nothing too fancy, just good drinks, good people, and a chill vibe. I stopped in on a Friday night, spent about $30 on a burger ($12), fries ($5), and a couple of drafts ($6 each). The burger was juicy and stacked, and the fries were crispy, just how I like 'em. They’ve got plenty of TVs, so it’s a great spot to catch a game without dealing with a huge crowd. Bartenders were friendly and fast, which is a big plus. Definitely the kind of place I’d swing by again when I’m in the area!

I get that they probably have to deal with people who don’t order anything, but like don’t tell a paying customer to “get out” when they’re done when all they did was spend money, mind their own business, and is already getting up to get out without having a pissed off barback remind them why they won’t spend their money there again. I mean, if I had the slightest clue as to what I did, that would be one thing. All I did was be quiet and hang in the corner and spend money and tip. But where else are you gonna go when you have a 6 hour layover? Eat a happy meal dude.

I came and bought a mimosa for 11.58 and tipped 2$ making my total 13.58 and then the bartender cut me off saying that i didnt tip him when i did and he was extremely rude without any recourse to even look into the reciepts showing that i did tip him. i just hope he looks through the reciepts properly and hell see that he was completly wrong

I ALWAYS have a good time here. Always. The service is great, the adult beverages are expensive enough to keep the dodgy folk away but not so prohibitively expensive that I would not stop for one or three. It is a GREAT spot for people watching. I think this place is a gem.

This is my GO-2 place while in the Amtrak station on layover to grab a Italian pot roast sandwich & a cold drink! The staff we pleasant & happy to offer information on menu items. However now that I have had the Italian pot roast Sandwich it will be hard to would try anything else!!
They also did a nice job of packing up a to-go order. (Lol - I enjoy my first bites so much, I had to get one to go!)
I would highly recommend The Junction as a great spot to relax while getting your WiFi, food & beverages while waiting for your train.
Thanks again for the great Chicago experience!

Rude staff. Told staff at 7:30 my train left at 8:32. Tried to get attention from 7:46 onward. Was going to order more. Finally got attention at 8:29.When I mentioned I had to hurry I got a raised eyebrow and sarcasm. They told me I told them what time my train was. I had to run down the escalator to get my train. Almost missed it. Won't ever give another penny to this place. Avoid.

The woman bartender might be the rudest individual I’ve ever encountered. Another gentleman, and myself, both elected to leave after being talked to so disrespectfully. I understand this is a bar, so for what it’s worth, we were both completely sober and very respectful. I’m still baffled at her attitude.

9 Bucks for a beer. It might have been a tall boy, but the junction can still kick rocks. The service was friendly.
