Good food, even better service. Crowded on the first floor but the second floor was better if you want a quiet place to relax. There's also a patio section the second floor, really entertaining for people watching of the weekends. The food is pricey but given the neighborhood its expected. Really creative menu. The pulled bacon sliders were fantastic, the italian flatbread was really flavorful and fresh out the oven so let it sit for a minute before biting. The food is a lot more filling than expected. Definitely a place to relax, especially if your a Michigan State fan.

I LOVED this place but then the incredible bartenders all left within weeks of each other and it’s hasnt been the same. Ryan C., Ryan T., Diego and Tiff all left and with them left a huge mark on the quality of bar service. Very few people seem to genuinely care anymore. It’s all about money and no longer about customer retention. I spent stupid amounts of money in there to support a business and I know don’t know if I can ever go back. It’s poorly run from the top.

Had the most amazing service! Ryan was the best bartender I have ever had! Very friendly and kind! Also Tiffany and Edgar were amazing as well! The staff was hooking it up! Will definitely be back every time I visit Chicago! Best badass staff!

Food is fantastic! My teen son gave the burger a 9.8/10. I had the Hide It brat w fries. Fries were so good, brat was delicious.

Stopped in for apps for a fun lunch and it was delicious!! Highly recommend their appetizers and my husband had a burger. So good!! Great bar atmosphere. Nachos were incredible. Wings were very good. Brussels weren't my favorite but were still good.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hopsmith Tavern. My wife and I were treated unfairly by the bartender, John, who made us feel unwelcome and discriminated against. To make matters worse, when we asked about tequila options, we were falsely told that the only house tequila available was Don Julio and Casamigo which was clearly not the case. The lack of honesty and poor treatment left a bad impression, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful environment.
