So I love books and I think libraries are the best thing ever. This library has 3 floors. 2 areas for public computer use. They have activities for different ages. An update to date check out area. I will say I miss the faces at checkout, but hey, it's technology. There is a youth area as well. They have a seed kickoff 2xs a year. Today was one of them. They also other checkout besides books such computers, lawn and gardening and so much more!!! Rooms to use for events as well.

I had an excellent experience with the library assistant, James! He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and efficient. Whether I needed assistance finding a book, navigating the library system, or getting recommendations, he was always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Leon County District Main Library is huge. Together with the physical access to the library materials they have huge online collections too. The library maintains a great networking among the branch libraries for easy access of the readers. The library app is another easy database management platform that is so user friendly. Proud to have such rich public library in the county. The staffs are very cordial and helpful in person or over the calls. Thank you all fir your genuine support and services for us, keep it up! A good library makes a series of good citizens!

I hate going here. Always have, especially now with all if the remodeling. I went and there was only one person at the desk upstairs instead of setting something up for two people to help patrons. And then all of the homeless people using it as a hotel by sleeping and bumming about the library. Thankfully there are other branches. Cleaner, more organized libraries. If I have to go to this location, I won't walk past the gift shop

I love this library. They give you a card that lets you check books out on your own. Lots of community programs, a book thrift store, events. Not too busy when I come in. They have a good selection of children's, YA, and adult books. Lots of comfortable seats. A must see if you're in the area.

However, if you're looking for a quiet place to study, it's always a hit or miss. Depending on when you go, it's a hit or miss. Some people forget that people want to enjoy peace and quiet in the library. Always bring a pair of earphones with you.

When you need a get-away that's always comfortable and friendly, free, and stay as long as it's open. This library is a blessing for Leon County and anyone who lives here.

It is actually convenient to come here sometimes but sense yall all have all this construction going on and I have to wait for someone to get off a computer to print documentations needed is very aggravating especially because all the homeless people just come on the computer. It’s waste time. Stay warm And get these paperwork done at a certain time and I literally had to wait

Rollin’ Roo loves libraries and this one was exceptional. Staff was very friendly. Facility is well maintained. Quick tip, the main entrance is actually on the opposite side of the building from the advertised address.
