Do not overlook this organization! I personally had not heard of it before I stumbled onto a listing that mentioned Score was a good place to find a business mentor. On the website I put in my location and was pleasantly surprised when I received a robust list of potential mentors to review. Once connected I have been working with a mentor for almost 2 years. The experience is invaluable, as my mentor is knowledgeable, transparent, and kind. It is on the mentee to let the mentor know what they need and how they can be better supported during their professional journey.

Another bonus with Score is they also offer webinars on various current topics such as AI, best business practices, etc.

I had a meeting with a few white guys to discuss my business aspirations and as a black woman that is a HUGE problem! It is sad how little diversity this place has! It is also very unfortunate that one of the guys used his experience of in his own words of " having a father that owned a business." As expertise!

They also were more concerned with selling me their services and they seem to only be able to handle small businesses that are already in business! This place is a waste of time and waste of space! I recommend you go elsewhere!
