Coleman’s is the place to be on St Patrick's Day! My friends and I continue the tradition of celebrating the holiday on Tipperary Hill and Coleman's is where we start and end the day. Always a festive Irish Pub ambiance and service is on point even on a crowded holiday. They kept the green beers flowing with live music and bag pipes pipering. I ordered Shepherds pie and an Opened Faced Reuben to go, which were delivered promptly even with the crowd. I loved the Shepherds pie,
devoured the creamy comfort food in minutes. I will definitely be ordering that again. The open faced Reuben did not keep well as a to go order but I'm sure is delish when served fresh! I ordered fries as a side and was surprised with the yummy little round cottage fries! We always have a great time at Coleman's, best Irish pub on the hill!

Great for parties and any special events. Very homey feel when you sit down to eat/drink, staff is always great and they have an amazing kitchen. Drafts and liquor selection is crazy (One of the only bars with Hennessy ). Can’t go wrong 🤌🏻

Overall they get a five stars for excellent service, great atmosphere, and good tap beer selection. Everyone from the hostess to our waitress were happy, energetic, quick, and very responsive. The chicken fingers were good but the typical expectation. The cheese platter was served with a horseradish dipping sauce which everyone liked. We stopped here while traveling and were pleasantly surprised by the lively / energetic atmosphere and out door seating options. We would definitely recommend.

Went on Saint Patrick's Day, even with a huge crowd the staff was very quick! The Shepard's Pie was incredible. Definitely a place to come to if you're in Syracuse

My family and I are regulars at Coleman’s. So much that we know the bartenders by name. However they really need to have better control of their rude trivia crowd. Last night, we had family from out of town and my family decided to sit down to have drinks and dinner. We were seated in what I guess was the trivia area and having a good time. During trivia, my party (who were not being loud, especially compared to the rest of the tables compared around us) were rudely told to shut up by a large group of young college aged adults. Rather than cause a scene, we paid for our meal and left. As soon as we got up, several young ladies immediately got up and began putting their dishes on our table as soon as some of my party left and some of us were still putting our coats on. They were extremely rude and disrespectful to my family. It left a sour taste for us, especially when we did love and enjoy this place so much and usually speak very highly about it.

Fantastic, traditional Irish food in a warm and lively setting. Live music, attentive wait staff, and very reasonably priced! Don't come if you want a quiet getaway - come for the energy, food, and fun! Highly recommended!

My burger was good and my drink was sufficient. Yeah this was a fun place. I'd definitely go back. I'd probably try to improve the mash a little, but that's about all I can say for a con, so it doesn't really count.

Upset to say the least. We’ve been going here for 5 years. I recommended this spot to my friend coming home from the army. We had a nice meal and great drinks. When using the bathroom people were piling in and the owner (male) pushed open the females bathroom looking for glass/puke and ended up accidentally hitting my friend with the door to the point where he caused a bruise on her arm. She was crying and said “hey you hit me with the door”. He very nastily responded “excuse me” and the Caucasian owner then proceeded to then respond by calling for security in the girls bathroom and said “get them out now”. We never provided any disruption, no over drinking, no ruckus created, we were confused as hell! No excuses for this lame unprofessional behavior. We asked for our card and our peacoats and had to call our husbands from home to go in to get them. Security apologized and said the owner often acts this way when he’s on drugs and we were appalled. I cannot believe this experience we had here, completely humiliating. Embarrassing to say the least! We will never be back. The food was not worth the hassle and the bartenders are extremely rude. Why tip 25% when people treat you like you are an inconvenience? We were using the bathroom and this happens! Forever crying for treating us the way you did for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.This is how we treat our troops fighting for our country…insane.
