This job is very straightforward. Show up to work when you're scheduled and sell over the phone. Experienced or not, they will train you and work with you as long as you are willing to learn. This wasn't the place for me (No complaints with it but the call center life just didn't fit my lifestyle) but believe me when I say this, there are few places out there that will give paid training, guaranteed hours, and a decent pay (plus commission) at an entry level; and this is one of those places. Can't go wrong here

Its great here, I love the ppl but they would want you to sell emergency equipment, so you still have to do your job. It's only 1 bathroom, 1 break room, 1 break, everyone there is ghetto, they do celebrate your birthday tho, at $9/hour. In order to get 40 hours a week, you have to literally work all week! No days off!

The money is good but it’s not worth being forced to work full time plus overtime every other week if you want to make the money you’ve been working hard for it gets taken away in a heart beat if you miss even a couple hours and don’t work a full day sat or Sunday! They don’t care about their employees I’ve tried to speak with the GM about a problem I had and he literally had nothing to say to me following that conversation. One bathroom , one 15 min break you can’t leave the property on, one 30 min lunch break and your on the Blvd with heavy traffic and they don’t even provide parking for the whole building sometimes you park behind buildings down the street or illegally on the side of the road and get parking tickets or better yet across the Blvd. they have a high turn over rate and that’s why there always hiring.

Customer service for Life Protect 24/7 was more like sales agents. If you like selling, work here. If you're not a strong one-call closer, don't work here. The more calls you take, they expect you to sell more--sales quota. They are a second chance employer, hiring offenders. There isn't a strict dress code.

This was one of the most unprofessional ghetto places I have ever worked at the girls at the front desk where nice the trainer named Joni is real really nice but this place is very misleading what you're selling they make you think that people are calling you to order something called life protect which is a little button that people press in case of an emergency I'm sure you've seen some of the commercials on TV but that's a lie! people are calling us by accident they pump you up and make you think you're going to be making all this money, the phone calls that are inbound the people don't even know what company they're calling. People are calling in every other place but to order one of these buttons so please don't! believe them all the people do is walk around and use profanity, girls in their dress like strippers it's just such an unprofessional environment people are cursing all day talking about sex, if you want some quick money and you can stand sitting on the phone and people are calling you by accident then do it,but it's definitely not a long-term job I couldn't last for 2 weeks I'm telling y'all the lady Joni is a really really good salesperson she will make you feel like "wow I can't wait to get on these phones" but it's nothing like they say I'm telling you the people that are calling you they don't even know what company they're calling you hear people say things like "oh I'm trying to activate my debit card" and then we have to go ahead on and pitch them on our product it's just very misleading they say that people are making all this money on a weekly basis that's not true.

Fired my little sister, because she was hospitalized for a week due to an illness. She called ahead letting them know she would be out (With no phone access), and when she would be able to return. She returned to work the day after she was released and was told she no longer had a position with them. BECAUSE she had two consecutive days of her not calling in to work or showing up. She told her supervisor what was going on. This was not right. Don't work for them.

If you want the truth about this place, I'll give you the truth. I worked for this company for 7 years. 4 years when they were just doing magazines and 3 years with medical alert. The owner is an outstanding person, very nice and pleasant, it's the management that make the company not the best company to work for. In particular the QC manager John B. He's arrogant, unprofessional, talks about giving 100% to the job, but doesn't give 100% to his employers. He treats his employers like animals and his attitude is a disgrace. When working for a company your suppose to be at ease and feel comfortable going to work everyday, but when you have a manager that hollars and screams at you and your fellow employees all day, then brings his personal affairs into the work place it's very unprofessional. I also never heard of needing documentation for everything even just to spend time with family. When you have all the other managers in other departments who treat their employers like equals and with respect and then one who likes to micro manage and treat his employers like savages it makes you feel uncomfortable and miserable.
