I absolutely never leave a bad review on anything but this is really trying my patience as a business owner. The fact that I decided to pay for this really makes me angry at myself because you can go straight through Google instead. I know because I have many accounts that do now. As most of the bad reviews have said, this company doesn’t prioritize you. I was communicating with someone on an account that I used and they shut it off so I have no emails with the back and forth communication unfortunately to show how difficult it was but I’m still being charged. The people I got help from were there in the beginning and now here I am three years later. I did not stay this long because of satisfaction and I will be doing all I can do cancel.

I have spent well in excess of a year trying to get information on my account, especially in regards to billing, and keep getting stonewalled. This removes any control I have over my own Google Account for me and I've reached the end of my rope in terms of knowing what to do about it. The one phone number I had for them is inoperative and my e-mails are ignored or responded to with "you're in the queue," or "if you want faster help, you can pay our $800 a year consulting fee." While Mike readily wrote back to me to try to help me with a technical issue - very much appreciated and the only reason this review isn't just one star - he continues to ignore all e-mails asking why I haven't been billed in at least two years. At first he was giving someone in accounting a chance to catch up after a maternity leave, but not the excuses have run dry. Customers have the right to know what is happening with their accounts.

My business has been a customer with ValleyApps for a number of years now. I have nothing but rave reviews. Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. For example, I contacted their owner about an email issue today that wound up not even being related to G-suite and he took the time to help me fix the problem. I can't recommend them enough.

I decided to transfer my account from Valley Apps to Google and the experience was difficult and unprofessional. Here is the verbatim email conversation I experienced with Valley Apps:

Me: Hello, I would like to cancel my subscription with you and transfer it to Google instead. Please help.

ValleyApps Support: What is your domain name?

Me: Hello, (domain name provided)

ValleyApps Support: May I ask why? You get free support from us. Google tough to get in touch with for support. And we would value the feedback. It's after hours so this is the owner Mike. Just want to make sure there isn't anything we can do to keep you onboard? If not the feedback is valuable for me. 🙂

Me: Thank you but I can get it cheaper by purchasing directly from them. Can you please process the transfer?

ValleyApps Support: Sure. We charge the same as them.

Me: Okay. I would still like to transfer my subscription to them. Thank you,

ValleyApps Support: We have one last bill you would need to pay then we can release you. Just FYI we honestly charge exact same as Google.

Me: What is the bill we owe? My accountant said we just paid something at the beginning of February.

ValleyApps Support: Owner to owner would be helpful to know the cheaper price

Me: I don't have the price in front of me at the moment but it is around $10 per user. Can you email me the final invoice so I can pay it? I would like to get this transfer wrapped up. Thank you.

ValleyApps Support: Yes we bill a month behind so you paid in Feb for Jan service and we require 30 days notice to cancel

Me: Okay. I just paid it. Please transfer my subscription to Google now. Thank you.

ValleyApps Support: So we bill end of Jan for Dec service. You get that bill either late Jan or early Feb. The next bill that would come out lat Feb and s for Jan service. Calm down. It's Friday night and I'm helping you. Jezzz

Me: I appreciate your help and I know it isn't fun to lose a customer. If you are unavailable to begin the transfer now, that's fine. Just please email me once it has begun. I just do not want to be charged another month beyond this. Thanks for your help.

ValleyApps Support: Jezzz. Trust me I'm more concerned with Google trying to undercut us. Not cool and you've been a long time customer. If we messed up I get it. It's why I asked so I could address it with my staff. If it's Google undercutting is that's not cool. Your a tech guy I'm sure you understand my frustration and it's not at you my friend. I'm upset by it but not your fault. Hard to loose that way. Standby 🙁 I know it won't matter but if you find out that price isn't real just FYI if we release you you can't come back. Googles rule. Promise last prompt. You say release me it will be done in five minutes. I'm saying this bc support at Google sucks....it's not like calling in to disconnect. So for a few more bucks you get us. Ok that's all I got. Release you?

Me: I understand. But I would still like to move over. Release me please.

ValleyApps Support: Welp. Appreciate the business over the years. Small chance we open an office in Portland later this year. If we do we would love to have you over. Cheers and good luck.

That was my conversation with them. I do not appreciate the rude and unprofessional communication.

Easiest check to write. Service is great when I need to add or modify. Never any problems with our critical communication infrastructure. Thank you for 13 years of no worries.

You can not get anyone from the company on the phone they have an answering service and it takes weeks for anyone to call back. I had someone breaking into my email and there was no urgency it took 3 weeks to call back. Service with this company is horrible
