Having recently moved to Baltimore, I’ve been working on establishing my go-to spots for various necessities, and finding a reliable library was a priority since I’m an avid user. As a small business owner, I previously met with an SBA consultant in Prince George’s County for business guidance, so I was pleased to find that this library offers SBA open office hours for business support.

Scheduling an appointment was a smooth and easy process. Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and very helpful, printing services were straightforward, they offer 20 pages free—something that other libraries I’ve visited around the DMV either limits or don’t offer at all. My meeting with the SBA advisor took place in the basement of the library, and the session was productive and insightful.

I’ll definitely be returning to make use of the SBA open office hours. I appreciate the convenience and support this library provides for entrepreneurs like myself.

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. It's always quiet and peaceful enough to get work done or read a book whenever I come. Covid-19 Safe, they actually do a temperature check on every person that walks through the door. 🙌🙌🙌

It's probably a totally fine library... when it's open. Was working out nearby on Friday, March 29 and paid for parking only to find a closed sign in the window when I got to the door. Isn't there someone who's supposed to tell Google Maps about these things, especially if it's a holiday closing? Irritating.

Love my local public library! The staff are always friendly and more than willing to help. The library is always clean and feels safe to work in. There are plenty of computers to choose from and I've been here several times to print stuff. There are a TON of books and magazines to choose from, comics and board games. Wifi works well.

They have many activities during the week, and sometimes during the day they hold events for the kids in the community, which I think is awesome. This means that at times the kids section of the library (all on the same floor) can get a little noisy. There is a small, glass container/room where you can hold group meetings.

Parking can be a little tricky in this part of town, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for a library in a great location.

Light Street branch of the Enoch Pratt library is one of my absolute favorite things about living in the neighborhood. The staff is informative and wonderful and the books we place on hold are usually available for pick up within only a few days.

Friendly place. Many kids programs during the week and weekend. Like a second home to my 3 kids. They listened to nursery rhymes when they were babies, flipped through books as toddler, now read by themselves at school age. They love going.

Only giving it 2 stars based off the time that they close. I get off work at 7pm everyday so most times I can't make it up there in time because they close at 5p or 530p most days. Other than that I would give them 5 stars.

The staff at this location are incredibly helpful. The library is a bit small but the library network has a ton of books and can be shipped within the network. Love it!
