Working with Chelsea and Atlas Design Studio was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning. Her clear communication, organized process, strong industry knowledge, bubbly personality, and relatable humor made wedding planning so simple and fun! Atlas knew our venue (Holman Ranch in Oct) like the back of their hands as well as every vendor in Monterey County. Choosing Katie and Chelsea at Atlas Design was the best decision we made, and easily the most impactful on our wedding. We needed someone who could quarterback the wedding process for us, and Katie went above and beyond that. Throughout planning Katie was so easy to work and personable. Her organization and clear communication kept us on track for important deadlines. Katie made the process actually fun.

While we had some initial ideas, Katie really helped shape our vision for the wedding. From selecting the venue, choosing vendors, picking rentals…Katie had everything organized, on a timeline, and within our budget. Despite us living on the opposite coast and only being able to make it to the venue a few times, we felt 10000% at ease knowing that Katie was there and making sure our day would be perfect.

Katie is an absolute DREAM to work with. I found her through instagram based on her amazing work at waterfall lodge in Ben Lomond, CA and I instantly fell in love with her style and her work ethic. She was extremely responsive, and offered a wide range of services, catering to exactly what you need for your event. I was a pretty hands on bride, especially with design but I knew I wanted Katie's artistic and creative influence so we chose her design and coordination package. She built a beautiful design board based off of my own pinterest board, which was pretty eclectic. I commend her for taking my vision and finding a theme for it. She sourced great local vendors whom she had developed a relationship with and she even used her own commission to give us a discount. You could just feel that she wanted to help fortify a great relationship with her clients while helping to provide them with the day of their dreams. She has an excellent relationship with the team at Waterfall Lodge, she is the perfect planner in general but specifically for this venue because she knows it so well. Our planning process was well over a year and she kept me on track all throughout the way, facilitating multiple communications on my behalf. I could not have survived my wedding day without Katie and Chelsea. They worked seamlessly to make every detail fall into place and they brilliantly kept our giant wedding party and family on schedule. They are master problem solvers and excellent communicators. One of my biggest regrets is not getting a picture with these two amazing women, because by the end of the whole thing I really found a friendship in Katie. She's an amazing and genuine human being, running a fantastic business and I would recommend her to anyone for their event planning and coordinating needs in the bay area!
