Denied surgery after 3 months of waiting and being told to wait for answers.

Told the reason for denial was because I was rude to staff when I truly did nothing to anyone that was deserving of the way I was treated. I’m in way worse shape now then I was walking into this doctors office back in August.

Dr. Conte expressed to me how dire my surgery is and how urgently I need it. It’s wildly confusing to put me through so much stress to get everything situated with my insurance and all then to tell me that I’ve been denied for being rude without providing any evidence. If there had been a recording or any proof of me being rude or disrespectful then I would take accountability and apologize for my actions. Nothing was provided

A representative named Lindsey from scheduling, called me to schedule my surgery. I asked her to double check with my insurance before getting the surgery scheduled. (as anybody who can’t afford surgery would do) She told me it wasn’t her job to check. I then asked her to transfer me to a representative who could assist me. she told me to lose my attitude and said to call the main line.

Someone’s rudeness to me and not liking of me shouldn’t justify a whole doctor to deny me surgery. It’s very upsetting.

This is the only negative review I have ever left a person or company.

Dr Conte is professional and a good surgeon. Had rotator cuff and bicep surgery and had no pain afterward. He answers all questions ask and explain so you understand. I would recommend him for any surgery.

And severely damaged lateral meniscus is now two weeks post operation with no pain and ahead of rehabilitation protocols Dr. Conte preformed a miracle operation in joining my meniscus together where a lesser surgeon might have removed it. No guarantee on a 100% successful outcome but that would not have been his intention just the nature of the injury. Dr. Conte is a straight shooter who doesn’t sugar coat his assessment. At two weeks out I feel way better than expected and being two months non weight bearing I have my work cut out for me. I’m positive Dr.Conte gave me the best chance for success

Dr Conte is a person who makes you feel very at ease. His explanation of your injuries and the procedures to correct them are plain and very clear. I truly think that is very important to any patient.

Dr Conte and his staff (particularly his PA Kristen Knorr) are fabulous! My rotator cuff injury was particularly bad but they got me through the diagnosis, surgery and post surgical recovery with nothing but positivity and encouragement. They were honest with their assessments (sometimes to my frustration) but also offered milestones to help me understand I was making progress. If I were to have shoulder issues again I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to them & would highly recommend them to anyone with similar problems.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr Conte as I had to schedule an emergency visit for a severely dislocated knee. My injury happened on a cruise ship vacation out of NJ. Dr Conte’s office picked up the phone and scheduled me for a next day visit due to my injury. Dr Conte’s staff was able to facilitaye fast insurance approval for an MRI and they scheduled me for expedited surgery shortly after my visit. Surgery went very well and I am also seeing the onsite physical therapist in the Mercerville office as they are very familiar with Dr Conte’s protocol for healing. So far so good. I am now 2 weeks post surgery and just had my staples removed today. Seth is on Dr Conte’s team and he’s great and so helpful in facilitating everything for me pre and post surgery! I highly recommend this practice and Dr Conte for his care and expertise throughout this experience. I hear he is the best of the best and I can fully agree with that!!
