I had the pleasure of visiting Award Makers in Fairbanks, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! The owners are truly nice people, so warm and welcoming. The wife was incredibly responsive over the phone, which made the whole process smooth from start to finish. The husband, who has an extensive knowledge of knives, was a joy to talk to. His expertise was apparent, and he made the entire experience so much more enjoyable by engaging in a friendly, easygoing conversation. We collaborated on finding the perfect gift, and at no point did I feel any pressure to make a purchase. I was treated with such respect, and I really appreciated their guidance!

The shop itself is a neat, well-organized, and easy to navigate. It was clear they take pride in the layout and display of their products, which made my shopping experience so much more enjoyable.

Best customer service hands down. I came in with items I needed done in 4 days. I was flustered because my first idea for a going away present didn’t go how I planned. They called the next day to say they were done. Due to not feeling well I was unable to pick them up the next couple days. They called to make sure I still needed them and sent me pics to make sure I was pleased with the product. They were polite, friendly and exceeded my expectations.

The shop is so very cute. The staff of Miss Toni, Mr. Tim, and the shop's mascot Miss Nikita, a super adorable dog that greets customers with love and happiness. I used their services to get plaques made for my recently departed dog and Miss Toni was so very caring, kind, and listened. She made me feel comfortable like a friend, and not just a customer. I would highly recommend this shop and will be using their services again.
