The BEST atmosphere and food. We went for Sunday brunch. The French toast was delicious, but the sausage is one of the best I’ve ever had. The people are so friendly. One of the servers talked to us for a while about all his favorite spots in town for us to visit. People told us the bar is a family bar and it feels like it. During Christmas, this is such a good place to be. The decor is awesome and made it sooo fun to be there. I’d recommend to everyone!

A festive and welcoming space for a drink. The 1970s deep cuts soundtrack fits the neighborhood vibe. You can't go wrong with a Guiness and some chicken wings, at this writing just 50 cents each on Wednesdays.

Every year we come for our Christmas party. The owner is the sweetest man. They treat us like family. They do that for everyone. The bar staff is crazy fast. I leave here with the best memories. After, my heart and liver are always full! Thank you for always being a part of our Sullivan Firm Family xoxo

So glad we found this little gem today! Love the history and that a lot of the staff has worked here for years and contributed to the decor. The Reuben egg rolls were so delicious and unique and would come back for these alone!! All the food and service was great! Also kid friendly

This is a pretty solid choice for food and drink. We were there for lunch and the food was good and atmosphere aided by pretty interesting decor. Don't expect them to get a Michelin star any time ever, but if you're looking for a quick bite and a beer, this is a very reasonable option.

Stopped by last weekend and grabbed their famous Reuben sandwich—corned beef piled high with sauerkraut and Swiss on marble rye—for about $17. Also couldn't resist the hand-cut fries on the side. The vibe was lively, with that old-school charm you only find in the Gold Coast. All in all, dropped around $30, and it was worth every penny. If you're looking for a solid meal with a side of Chicago history, this is the place to be.​

So much fun! Every staff member was so kind and went out of their way to accommodate us. Truly, the most welcome I’ve ever felt in a restaurant when dining out with our kids. Food was good and atmosphere was totally worth it! Definitely crowded and a wait, but that’s part of the fun and charm. Highly recommend.
