I am unable to budget or plan for the future because they wont tell me this info. My wife has been in school for 1 year and still I cant get a receipt form anyone!!!!!!!!

I graduated from the nursing program with honors and passed the nclex with little issue. However, while I did graduate and make it through this program it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Nursing school is supposed to be hard, but it isn’t supposed to be what charter has made it into. I dealt with several instances of abuse and harassment, as did my peers. Charter will tell you over and over about nurses bullying their young.. I’ve never experienced bullying in the nursing profession as much as I have since my time at charter college. I was told on my very last day of the program, by an instructor, who I’ll add, had previously told me about her sex life that, “You are the most unprofessional student I’ve ever seen and you don’t have respect for authority and you’ll never succeed as a nurse.” (Wildly untrue and so traumatizing, simply for control). There were other situations that the school should have been slapped with a class action law suit, but we were all too afraid to stand up and say anything, because if you do, your grades will suffer or somehow you’ll be kicked out of the program.

If you decide to do the program, keep your head down and your mouth shut. I’d honestly do it again because it is the quickest way to become a nurse in the state of Alaska, and if you can teach yourself the information (because there is an insane amount of instructor turnover and lack of coordination) then you can can pass and move through the program. This is a money hungry school, there is absolutely no doubt about that either. I remember reading negative reviews before I signed up for the program and blowing them off, but they are all real. 5 years into my nursing career I am finally able to come back and write this because I was literally afraid of how writing down a negative review about this program could actually affect my career because anchorage is a small town.

I am now a nurse manager pursing my masters degree and in my career have never had a single negative performance review. I say that because I have waited this long into my career to write a review and have it mean something. I am giving 3 stars for the speed of the program, and I am a damn good nurse whether or not any of that came from charter or just a few special instructors within the program. Proceed with caution to all who consider moving forward. Don’t ignore the red flags.

Signed up for the MBA program last year and wasn't sure what to expect. I'd been out of school for 12 years and when I was in school my classes were in large university lecture halls. I was unsure of how successful I'd be in the online environment and tentatively started my classes at Charter. What I quickly learned is that I was in the drivers seat. Every Monday my instructor would post my assignments and I was able to plan my week accordingly. Working full time and having a family meant I needed a flexible schedule. The program was rigorous but well worth it. If it had been easy then it wouldn't have been a quality MBA program. I enjoyed getting to know my classmates located in different states and benefited from their extensive leadership and business experience. I wish Charter offered a Doctoral program.

This is a great college, great people who works hard to make their students highly successful. I came here not knowing a thing about Medical Assistant and now I'm leaving here with everything to know about Medical Assistant.

Because of the professors and the instructors who puts their minds and hearts into teaching their students both on-ground and online campus and to the amazing staff who are always willing to assist their students with any challenging obstacles, I feel absolutely confident to pursue my career with any given opportunities that are out there in the medical field.

I've completed the MA program this year and I will be going back again for my Associates of Applied Science Allied Health this December. Who knows, I just may keep coming back with anything they have to offer, they're awesome. I love this college.

So I want to say "Thank you" to Anchorage Charter College for your amazing and hard work and I also do recommend friends and family that Charter College is the right college. Good job, guys.

I have attended Charter College during all my post HS education. I have always had a good experience and the instructors I have worked with have been awesome. I would say if you are interested in a fast paced program, to give them a try. You can always decide whether their programs are right for you.

Hello! As a past student and now graduate I wanted to write a review for Charter College as a representative of our student body. I attended school here while maintaining a full time and part time job in addition to becoming a new father. As someone who had an extremely busy schedule I found Charter College not only to be flexible but practical. No school, no program, nothing in life is perfect but what's great about Charter College is they are willing to work with you. Their common sense approach allows for conversations to occur and improvements to be made. #CharterRocks

I'm currently graduation from Charter College. I personally like how my professor Pearson has help me every step on the way. I get every help and question answered (And I ask a lot of questions). I personally recommend Charter for their flexible schedules, for their time and support. They’re willing to help you find a job and transfer to another state if needed. The stuff has been replying back my emails and phone calls the same day. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you Charter.
