I wish I had a place like this when I was growing up outside Tallahassee!!!! The people, the space, the books, the vibe… I loved everything about this place! When I heard about Common Ground Books, I knew I had to go when I was back in Tallahassee. I found a pile of books to buy and I spent a while chatting with both the person working as well as some other people that were there. They have lots of mugs and art. It’s just such an amazing space to be in.

I absolutely love this bookstore! My favorite one in town. It is always so welcoming and peaceful. Their staff is friendly and helpful. I purchase from them as often as I can because I want to see a place with this type of environment open as long as possible. I enjoy their monthly calendar of events as well.

this place is amazing!! i went for a patch workshop with a local artist and had the best time! they had so many cute stickers and pins, and i walked out of there a couple bucks lighter because of it. the staff member was super sweet and it was an all around amazing environment! i honestly cannot wait to visit again!

This weekend I got to stop by Common Ground Books - a new feminist & LGTBQ independent bookstore downtown. ❤️ It’s right across the streets from the main library in an adorable cottage house turned bookstore.

I left with several new empowering books for my Littles, as well as with some charming gifts for others! In addition to their awesome selection, they have merchandise, stickers, ceramics and other adorable small gifts.

And for you Book Worms out there, they’re participating in the Where’s Waldo scavenger hunt happening here locally. 🤓

They post their hours on their FB page. I’d recommend strolling through and getting to know the owner, Alex! You won’t regret supporting local in this new and inclusive way. 🌈✨🥰

Love this local bookstore! The booksellers are so welcoming and helpful whenever I'm there. They're always willing to help me find a book even when I only know what the cover looks like but not the name, lol. They also have events monthly open to everyone. I personally enjoy the monthly crochet class! Common Ground is such a treasure for Tallahassee ❤️.
