I brought my 2024 Kia Carnival to Tanner to have it wrapped. He is local and we like to support local business. We discussed many aspects that go into having a vehicle wrapped. Ultimately, we decided on a wrap color/product. The wrap was also very fairly priced for the whole vehicle. I'll admit there were some communication issues. However, when all has been said and done, I could not have been more pleased. The attention to detail and customer service after the installation have been great. Wherever we go, my kids are embarrassed by the number of people who stop, ask questions, and give compliments. Even a kia dealer today commented when I brought my van in for service that it looks really good and well done. I believe it has to do with the detail on the side.
Just make sure you get clear dates and times for completion of install.

Do not go here if you care about your car.
I am unfortunately having to report that the situation is worse than my initial remorseful review had stated.
I took my car to a different professional and had the PPF on the trunk redone to fix the bubbling shown around my spoiler/wing in the pictures.
Those lines though, where Tanner had cut the PPF to make a seam, were not just cuts in the PPF… he had cut deep into the clear coat of my trunk as well… the cuts are so deep that aggressive buffing and polishing doesn’t help.. I’ve added another picture showing the cut in the clear coat. After more inspection we found he cut into the clear coat around other areas like around the logos and model numbers.

Really sucks not only having mistakes in the PPF never fixed by Tanner but also having the finish of my car ruined.

(Keep in mind that my car was BRAND NEW when I brought it to him. I literally drove it home from the dealer and took it to him about a week after owning it and the paint was perfect.)

I’m very sad to leave this review and I was crossing my fingers that Tanner would follow through on his word after almost an entire YEAR of waiting for home to fix his mistakes.

Backstory:
I arranged full body PPF and tint on my beautiful BMW M240i in July of 2023. All initial communication with Tanner was great. He was very responsive and his price of around $4k for the job was cheaper than a lot of other places.
The job started out very smoothly and he had estimated needing it for a week but it turned into a bit longer. It wasn’t a problem though because I had another car.
After I picked up the car I found some mistakes in the tint and PPF. I took it back and he was able to get the tint fixed but had to order more PPF. I also had him install a rear spoiler.

That’s the end of the good though. After that he basically disappeared on me.
Sounds very similar to the most recent review stating some similar problems. I would text him asking when he could fix the PPF that was installed incorrectly and he would say he’d fit me in but then nothing..
he unfortunately got injured in the fall and the recovery was 6 weeks so I didn’t bug him and hoped he would reach out during Oct-Dec so we could get my car fixed.
I never heard from him so I started up a conversation in January asking when it could get done. The spoiler he installed also had the PPF bubbling up around the edges so that needed to be fixed.
He said he would be able to get to it and then nothing.. I continued this cycle with him until April when I was moving out of the area and I was going to need my car fixed before moving. He said multiple times he would get me in and then even said he would come to my house and get the work done, (because I lived right down the street from him), and so while I’ve been busy stressed about moving this past week I planned for my car to be available for him. Texted him on the morning he was supposed to come and nothing.. no response. I texted in the evening and he just said he got busy but could get to it Friday which was my last day in the house. So I waited all Friday.. and nothing.

I didn’t hear from him all weekend and finally texted him today saying that I was very disappointed that this is where things ended. He sent me a very gas-lighting response saying the following:
“Man am I not allowed to be busy? I was trying to be generous and come to your home and it didn’t line up. What would you like me to do?”

Really unfortunate that someone who runs their own business cannot take responsibility for any of their actions and tries to turn any customer concerns into an attack against the customer who has been patiently waiting for the job to be done.

He’s a nice guy but if you have anything that requires additional work after the first installation then good luck…
Also added in his last message where he’s trying to blame me for not being able to give him more time to fix his work.

Unfortunately, our experience with Cutting Edge turned out very poorly. We started having material failures weeks after our wrap job was finished. I contacted Tanner with photos and details and he had advised me to wait until the end of winter to get our car back in to fix the problems. I continued to provide him with the details as we saw additional material failures and the wrap continued to deteriorate very noticeably. I reached out in March to try to get our car in and it is now August and we still do not have any resolution or timeline from Tanner. The car looks horrible and I have gone back and forth with Tanner through dozens and dozens of texts for the last 7+ months trying to give him the opportunity to make this right. This wrap job cost us thousands of dollars and will likely need to be entirely redone. I believe strongly in trying to give businesses an opportunity to correct issues but after months and months of back and forth with Tanner, we've had no support to correct these issues.

Tanner did an amazing job on my service van. He listened to how I needed the logo done, and added a few great ideas into it. He took his time to make sure the design was what I wanted and did an extremely thorough job installing it. I will only recommend them to do wraps on vehicles, trailers or anything you need wrapped. 5 stars isn’t high enough for the service I received. The price is extremely reasonable. And the warranties are top notch.

Tanner was really great work with! Inside my Tesla model Y wrapped. They didn’t have the color I was looking for. But they quickly ordered it and had my car wrapped in less than a few days, that included tinting my windows as well. I hadn’t even driven 5 miles when I had several comments about how great it looked.

Unfortunately while the wrapping I got looked amazing, it didn’t even last 4 months before it started to bubble and peel. I went in and they fixed the bubbled parts for me but it happened again within a month.

I only hand wash my car and I am quite upset to be having bubbling in the first place. Even worse, Cutting Edge told me to contact them if it happened again, but are now not responding to my repeated calls and texts asking if they could fix it or refund me. It looks shoddy now and I’m honestly embarrassed to have it on my car.

After it started peeling the first time Cutting Edge explained it away with “textured wrapping are more difficult” but I paid $400+ for a job I expected to last (as I was told wrappings should last 7-10 years) not a 4 month sticker and ghosting from Cutting Edge when they realized they couldn’t fix the wrap is upsetting.

If you go forward with using this service I suggest asking before they wrap your car if the kind of vinyl or the placement will cause issues/be more difficult. If so, be prepared for that or consider other options.

Tanner redid the tint on my car from the first time that I got it tinted from someone else. He did a great job with it and was super easy to communicate with. He also let me know that the first person that tinted my car didn't do the proper percentage darkness, he showed me what 5% should look like, compared to what I had on the car. Very honest guy and he does great work!

Tanner was amazing, highly recommended. He provided me an accurate estimate and offered an appointment within a few days. He tinted my windows and added vinyl wrap on some interior trim. Both look amazing and are just what I asked for. Also, he is FAST!!
