Such an awesome, amazing farm! The owners have created a unique farm, showing off their beautiful craftsmanship with their cool wooden structures big and small , flower/ vegetable gardens, art gallery not to mention all their animals( chickens, donkeys. Horse. Yak, goats) Kids and adults will love their visit to Dean Homestead Family Farm!!

Ranja and Jeff are the epitome of inspiration both at the environmental and artistic level. What they have created on their homestead, leveraging all that mother mature has to offer, coupling with their artistic and creative skills, affords you an opportunity to see nature through their eyes and experience. A tour of their property including the buildings, gardens, and the manicured landscape will leave you in awe. And top it off with some artistic creations, each with their own inspiring design and spirit, will leave you nothing less that inspired. I highly recommend you stop by for a visit to tour the grounds and learn what it takes to live off the land and share their beautifulcreations, on displayand available for sale. One of my absolutely favorite places to visit in Alaska. The amazing architecture and glorious gardens make you feel like you have stepped into another world. Their creativity is both breathtaking and inspiring. The hosts are incredibly kindhearted and share such interesting stories of their lives in this beautiful environment. The animals are unusual and delightful, ranging from funny baby goats to furry French donkeys and of course, Yeti the enormous yak/cow. Fantastic views. Highly recommend!!!

The Dean Gallery in Homer is an extraordinary experience. Aside from the gallery itself being full of exceptional art, the entire Hobbit-land like property and outbuildings is tour-worthy. The Dean family are true originals in the art world. They live their talk!
