I showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted. Short in the back by the cowl leg little longer in the front. A three on the sides. I got a three on the sides long in the back and short in the front somehow. Won't be going back. Also they start their tip at 25 percent and I don't mind but when you're already charging people almost $50 for a haircut. Seems only right you let customers choose. I also noticed that the button was really worn out at the 25% lowest option.

It was my first time getting a haircut in almost two-and-a-half years; I asked a close buddy of mine who he sees to get his haircuts. I was recommended Tessa at the Johnstown Floyd’s, and I have never had a better haircut in my life. Initially, I figured I’d get it cut how I used to: short, almost a fade style. However, she suggested I try working with the hair I’d grown out all this time, and go for a more mid-size cut. She analyzed all my cowlicks, the direction of growth, found I had natural waviness in my hair when it’s longer, and incorporated that into the style. She was incredibly thorough and did an amazing job. I didn’t know my hair could be cut/styled the way she did it, and I feel like I’ve finally found the style that perfectly fits me.

I had a great time getting my haircut on 12/23 with Nessa. Nessa was very personable and experienced in cutting hair. She had a great sense of humor as well as having the ability to read a person and know which manner she should communicate to a customer with. This has been the case with all barbers at Floyd's but the reason I am writing the review is because Nessa was not treated with the recognition she deserved. She was yelled at by the manager and afterwards the manager offered us a free cut as an apology which was good in intent. The only reason it is 4/5 stars is because there was a lack of peace in the environment due to the animosity in the moment. For the manager that night: Great job, you are doing great things with great intent but pay attention to the context of the moment because Nessa is an amazing, personable, and fun hair stylist. She is not rude or offensive in any way 🙂

This was a lucky find on a one-day business trip to the Denver area. They have an online booking feature accessable through the maps app. However I was also able to call in to see if they could get me in within the hour. Some answered the phone right away and they could. The shop is very clean and well-managed and they have a wonderful 80s rock and roll art Deco theme! My haircut needs are simple, but the stylist did a great job checking on what I wanted. I got Buzz cut and beard trim in 29 minutes.
