A great place for Silks lessons. All of the coaches are kind, patient, and eager to see people succeed. Even if you have no background in it they ensure you are successful! Bonus: they have a super cute coffee bar with amazing coffee! They also have food but I haven't tried it yet.

My daughter has been taking classes for two years with Teal, Emma, Sarah, Lindsey, Kelly, Piper, Emily and all the assistant coaches. It has been such a formative experience for her to be in the summer troupe and do classes and performances with Golden Heart Performing Arts. The coaches are focused, intentional, conscious of safety, and so inspiring! What a group of great role models for my daughter!

I have loved the classes at Golden Heart! I'm completely new to aerial silks, but they still had me hanging upside down at the end of the first class. I'm currently taking one of their progressive classes (3 weeks long, meeting twice a week) and the progress from one class to the next is amazing. Both Teal and Emma are wonderful coaches, and really want everyone to have a positive experience. It's a great environment for anyone - any fitness level, any body type!

The solstice show was phenomenal. The amount of effort and heart put into the endeavor by everyone involved from performers to coaches to designers and everyone else was evident. We are lucky to have a space in Fairbanks where this sort of young local creative talent can flourish!

My daughter had the best experience here 💛 Teal and all of the other coaches were kind during the learning process, it was her first time ever doing movement like this! She quickly learned aerial silks and sling over 3 semesters and was able to perform multiple times. She even put together multiple choreographed pieces to her favorite songs. 🎶 As a pre-teen, music is extremely important to my daughter these days.

Golden Heart Performing Arts is a healthy outlet for youth in our community to express themselves. This was the best way for J to exercise during a long dark winter. What I love most is how my daughter respects Teal and the other coaches. It was fulfilling to see her make adjustments to her craft based on direct and honest feedback from the coaches. It is always clear what is expected of them and as a parent it was so special to be able to see her improve her performances in such a short amount of time. It’s scary seeing the kiddos hanging (and dropping!) from ceiling but the coaches are knowledgeable and put 100% of their energy into getting them ready. Thank you all so much for leading our youth and believing in what they are capable of. 💛💛💛💛
