I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the services provided by Imagination PR for our product launch project.
We hired their services for a three-stage project, which included finding a brand ambassador, organizing a launch event, and conducting a press event.
To start they requested the full amount upfront, we then negotiated a payment plan that would consist of 3 instalments as the project had 3 stages and the expected was for each stage to be completed within a month apart or as fast as the first stage was completed.

None of the stages outlined in the contract were completed.
Initially, we paid one-third of the contract amount with the expectation that each stage would be delivered as agreed upon. However, after the first month, they requested the second payment despite not completing any part of the project. We asked to wait until at least the first part of the project was delivered as they had informed us that they had difficulty reaching their networking contacts, which was crucial for the first stage of the project.

They admitted that they had struggled to communicate with their network and that this was taking longer than expected, so we had to delay our product launch.
This inability to leverage their supposed extensive network raises concerns about their capability to deliver the promised services.
In our first meeting, Hellen and Emily affirmed having an extensive network of professionals that they could reach out to fill the role and complete the first stage of the project.
Only after 3 months, Emily could arrange the first interview with a candidate for the ambassador role and when we asked for information about their background but she could not answer and admitted that they found this person through an Instagram search. For that reason, we wanted to make sure the candidate was suitable for the role and prepared a questionnaire to see if this person would be a match.
Additionally, they argued that we were not flexible and that we were making the process difficult because we sent this questionnaire. We only did so because they could not provide any information about the possible brand ambassador they claimed to have found on Instagram. Therefore, asking questions about this candidate was the only way to see if they were suitable for the role.

As no progress was made on any stage of the project, it is only fair that we receive a refund for the payment made. Their insistence on charging for attempted work rather than fulfilling the terms of the contract is unprofessional and unfair. Not only have we been left significantly behind schedule for our product launch, but we are also now faced with the additional expense of legal action to recover the funds paid to you.

It is disappointing that despite admitting to their failure to deliver the agreed-upon services, they refuse to refund the payment made. We have documented evidence of all our interactions, including their acknowledgement of the inability to fulfil the contract terms.
In conclusion, we expected a level of professionalism and competency that the company failed to deliver.
