Ion helped me design the Juli Diamond Cleaning system. I knew very little about design, engineering or manufacturing when I found Ion. I had a problem and I had a solution. Ion took that idea and made it come to life. They were honest and upfront about project pricing and never once did I feel like I was being unfairly charged or taken advantage of. I interviewed several firms who "specialize" in engineering new inventions for creators and all of them had shady pricing strategies, nickel and diming inventors for everything from photo copies to service charges for simply transferring files. Some even require part ownership in the products they help design. Ion does none of these things. They have years of experience with reputable brands like OXO. They made sure to fully understand the nuances of the problem so their suggestions were always moving the ball up the field and time was never wasted. They helped me source and vet a manufacturer in China and spearheaded all of the communications with their engineering counterparts oversees. During the time we were working together one of their staff designers was fluent in Chinese which made critical manufacturing communications much easier. If you have a product of any kind and want to see it come to life with a good, honest, incredibly smart team, I can not recommend Ion Design enough. I never could have done this without them. ION runs an amazing design shop. Making product designs and things that people WANT to use is really their specialty. They have a next-level service that is rare in this day.
