Some customers have mentioned that the market has a variety of foods from all over the world, and that it is clean and has plenty of employees. However, they also mentioned that the area around the market isn't the best and doesn't feel safe after dark. Additionally, they noted that the market closes at 5:00 pm, making it not ideal for dinner time. Despite this, the food is delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced.

Fun market with lots of a variety of foods from all over the world. We’ve eaten here 4 times so far on our trip to Baltimore. It’s clean and has plenty of employees at every establishment as well as Lexington Market workers cleaning floors and tables. Lots of security personnel as well. Closes at 5:00 pm, so not really an option for dinner time. Area around the market isn’t the best and doesn’t really feel safe after dark. Food is delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced.

Lexington Market is a place nearly as old as America itself — and its history of local food, community-rooted small business, and a space for all is the legacy we are proud to continue on today.

When we say that Lexington has “something for everyone,” it’s because after more than 200 years in operation, we still pride ourselves on having a diverse mix of local food and service vendors who are deeply rooted in Baltimore. Love, love, love this place! Plenty of options for every palate. Food stall workers are so incredibly helpful! I ended up with shrimp & grits from Sunny Side which were excellent! And, from Faidley's , I had raw oysters and Rockerfellers and they were so fresh and prepared great! Yummy! Definitely will go back. The only bummer is parking.

Lexington Market has definitely evolved it a bustling market now with vendors and shops and some of the best fried chicken ever! I must admit I miss the bmore authentic flare that the market had numerous years ago but I understand things change. The variety of vendors has diminished IMO but it’s still a great place to visit when in Baltimore

This was, in my opinion, a smaller version of Chelsea market or reading terminal. A lot of vendors and stores within. I didn’t feel the food selection was amazing though. It was not overly crowded here like the others, but a lot of the restaurants weren’t open when I went either. I went two different times of day and it was never as overwhelmingly crowded as the others, which was very nice. I tried shrimp tempura bao buns that were good, but not amazing. The bun didn’t taste fresh at all and it wasn’t very fluffy. The people working at that restaurant were very nice. They have restrooms that were clean. Overall it was a nice stop.

Always enjoyed visiting this historic market. Market sells meat, produce, baked goods, Knick knacks and has lots of old and new food stalls. Particularly like the chicken stall where they sell fried liver and gizzards, yum!

A lot of culture in this place also a lot has changed for the better in this place also. Not as many people begging for money and hand outs although I understand why they are doing it. The overall experience was nice and the food was tasty. Would recommend going back down for sure.
