I visited this spot on a previous trip. However, it's late at night. And this time it was closer to dinnertime. It was really busy. You could hardly attract the bartender's attention. But all in good time, and everything I requested for was provided quickly.
The food was excellent both the first time I arrived and this time around. Golden fried chicken is fantastic. I got spicy sauce on the side. Amazing. Sausage, green peppers, and onions were pretty nice. My partner really enjoyed it. I liked the vegetables.

A Perfect Pub Experience with Great Food, Beer, and Service

This pub is an absolute standout for anyone looking for great food, an impressive beer selection, and top-notch service. The ribs were a true highlight—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Paired with a cold pint from their extensive beer menu, it was a meal to remember.

The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a casual evening out. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the service. Our server, Emma, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right.

If you’re a fan of delicious ribs, great beer, and amazing hospitality, this pub should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be coming back!

An early Christmas treat for anyone is to visit Miller's Pub here in Chicago over on Wabash.

It's an institution in this town and has been serving up fabulous food, good drinks and pleasant atmosphere for decades.

And the food, oh the food! A French-dipped sandwich with fries and coleslaw, followed by triple chocolate cake for dessert.

The service was excellent, everyone was friendly, kind and polite.

5 stars all the way for Miller's Pub.

Review of Miller’s Pub, Chicago

I had dinner at Miller’s Pub recently, and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the baby back ribs with fries, coleslaw, and a side of blue cheese dressing. The food was excellent—the ribs were tender and flavorful, and the sides complemented the meal perfectly.

The service was also great; the staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.

Miller’s Pub offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quality meal in Chicago. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and great service.

After a bad (very unfriendly and almost rude) initial interaction at the host desk, I had a great a dinner. I was looking for another place to go when they gave a table. Jeff was my server and he was very nice, kind and efficient. I had the famous Greek salad and I now know why it is famous. It’s a big salad, very fresh greens and vegetables, with delicious Greek-marinated chicken. The nice surprise were the anchovies in the salad. Totally recommend it.

Miller's Pub in Chicago is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food in a vintage sports bar setting. With its rich history dating back to 1935, the pub offers a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual meal or drink. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the friendly service. The blend of old-school charm and lively energy makes it a great spot for a classic Chicago dining experience. Highly recommended!

We came here after 2 recommendations and we wanted to be able to watch the Bucs/Ravens game and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Cesar was our waiter and he was excellent. Gave great recommendations and explained why he recommended what he did. He also took his time to help us decide on what to eat

There were 3 in our party and we ordered the Greek Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and a Moscow Mule. Now I wanted to chicken pot pie but it was sold out so Cesar recommended this dish.
Friend 2 had the Prime Rib French dip sandwich and French Fries with an espresso martini. Friend 3 had Ruben and onion rings, with a sample of their homemade sauces and a Long Island Iced tea.

All of us LOVED our dishes and drinks. If/when I ever visit Chicago again I will certainly come back to Millers and highly recommend anyone in Chicago visit them regardless of your in the downtown area or not. It is work the drive.

This is a huge restaurant which might stumble upon if you find yourself in Chicago, looking to eat after 9pm. Most kitchens close, but Miller’s serve food until late.

The restaurant in itself is a mix of Irish pub, American steak house and with a twist of Greek food (due to current owners). So the menu is a bit all over the place. Food tastes ok, and service is nice. It does the job, but it’s nothing to seek out and go the extra mile for.

- Value for money? Decent
- Worth a detour? No
- Best for (occasion)? Dinner after 9pm without a reservation in town
- Would I go back? Yes
