Fish and Chips was good. The fish is on the soft side and not really crispy, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you prefer. I liked it. The curry ketchup was interesting and I thought it was a good addition. Fries were good. Onion soup was too salty but otherwise excellent. The bangers and mash was airy light and balanced---a very good and faithful rendition of the real thing.

Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Lots of TVs to watch any game you’re interested in. Service was absolutely spectacular, which is hard to find in the city of Chicago nowadays. Reccomend and will be back for sure.

It was my first time there. I went on Palm Sunday. There was live music played by children and adults. I had the special tritip and for dessert the bread pudding that I am still raving about. I plan to go back for the Guinness stew which I was told is amazing. The ambiance reminded me of The Quiet Man movie one of my favorite 😍 of John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I've passed this place literally thousands of times cuz I've lived in the neighborhood over 25 years. Always wanted to come in but never did till now. Great place. Worth every penny. Wonderful experience exactly what I hoped it would be.

Was bummed that the weekend roast wasn't available when I came on March 23rd. They were still serving the St Patty's Day menu. However, the bangers and mash was really delicious! Very sweet bartender, and food came out quickly and nice and hot. Pretty dead on a Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. I guess I was expecting a livelier atmosphere. Will try Friday or Saturday night next time.

What a fascinating place.
And what an interesting discovery... A pub with excellent food and even an irish grocery. For a fun night out, you can't beat this energy filled spot. Good variety on the menu and excellent beers. The chicken tenders were amazing.

Came here for St. Paddy’s and had a good time! You’ve GOT to try the Shanky’s with Coke. It’s Shanky’s whip liqueur which has hints of vanilla and caramel. I’d suggest it with Diet Coke because the Shanky’s is pretty sweet so if you do regular Coke it might be too sweet. For a good balance go Diet Coke. As for the food the bread pudding was fantastic! I think the best bread pudding I’ve had so far. For your main definitely go with the stout stew. It was hearty, flavorful and overall very warming and comfortable. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. I like my fries quite crispy so that was a plus for me but might be too crispy for some if you prefer softer fries. There’s also a shop and a pub on the first floor that has some great overseas candy. I suggest trying the smarties which are a superior version of m&ms (real sugar)! The restaurant itself is on the 2nd floor so take the elevator. They have a small little whiskey room on the first floor too where you can buy bottles of whiskey. It’s small but cute.

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the beautiful 2nd floor event space. We appreciated that the space was fully accessible. Staff was attentive, friendly, and flexible. Our guests still rave about the ribs.

Nice Irish Bar with live music - piano and guitar.
The place was full and we had to sit by the bar.

Good collection of Irish whiskeys to choose from. As you enter, you’ll also find a small grocery store inside with Irish and British Candies and Biscuits (cookies). Alcohol available too in retail but expensive.

The food was okay. We ordered fish and chips. Fries were great but the fish was bland and puffed. Also ate the Irish sausage roll and it had more oil than usual.
