Ineffective regulatory agency that allows the electric utilities, especially BGE and Pepco, to steamroll the consumers nearly every year with incredibly high rate increases. Moreover, complaints to the PSC about power reliability go unanswered. Even though the pandemic ended several years ago, most PSC employees still work from home where they spend most of their time watching TikTok videos.

No Transparency. Place needs federal AUDIT. No response,
PSC responsible for the Utility Egregious increase.
We need DOGE to investigate this office.
"Public Service,"yet does nothing to help or assist the public.
PSC responsible for the new multi year rate plan.
MD residents have no competition or choice of utility, forced to go with BGE supplier.

Gas Charge 300$ Delivery 600$
Total GAS BILL 900$.

Time to get some level headed people in the office.
Vote to remove the incompetent staff responsible for horrible decision making, resulting in citizens having to pay utility bill damn near the cost of a mortgage. SICKENING.

Most people don't bother with cable anymore. I have a low hanging wire that is hanging in my yard from the pole to my neighbors house adjacent to my yard that is within reach. I can swing on it if I want. Sanitation Trucks have already snagged on it when they come weekly to pick up recycle/trash. Spring is here and I have lawn services done. I'm told to stay 35 feet away because of danger. Yet PG County, BGE, nor 911 wanted to adjust the wires to make it safe. The wires are not marked to determine what cable/phone company it may be so they claimed to not be allowed to touch it. So what tragedy has to happen for anyone to come out and do anything about it. It's sad because their are children and elderly people in my neighborhood. No one cares, no one will take responsibility or rectify the situation. Getting through to a phantom cable company is random and like needle in a haystack. My neighbor is indifferent and it is not affecting him. I have pleaded so now I may have to contact higher officials offices or thr news to report this hazard that everyone has wiped thier hands clean of. Despicable and very disappointed. We pay to many taxes in this state for a potential harmful situation for no one to br accountable.

Electric supply companies are changing contracted rates without notifying customers. The PSC ("Public Service") won't even let us know that they stopped allowing fixed contracts with suppliers much less help us with companies not honoring contracts and blaming the PSC.

They don't work for the consumer. BGE rate hikes are coming out of consumer's pockets to triple BGE's profits. Real facts not hyperbole.

The Maryland public service commission is completely useless and corrupt. They consistently side with BGE despite irrefutable evidence. I had Lavone Grant initially take my request and she received my case October 26, 2023. I had to keep reaching out asking for updates and did not receive a decision until Feb 20, 2024. All she did was compile what I sent and BGE sent. BGE just said their IMU works correctly and that’s what she sent back to me. Then Linda Hurd was the one working on my appeal. I sent on March 1 and had to reach out and ask if she had received it since tracking said delivered for a few days but no contact from her. She took from March 1-May 7 to just give a denial. She did not give solid reasoning why she denied my request. All she said was that BGE billing was accurate. I gave proof in my billing statements that I was double billed and they also overestimated my gas, and according to BGE when billing goes to actual estimates they will fix. Nothing was ever corrected. Attached is the denial from Linda. It’s completely illegible. It honestly feels like BGE is in their pockets and you as a consumer are completely screwed over on multiple fronts.

These PEOPLE WORK FOR BGE NOT THE RESIDENTS OF BALTIMORE CITY.......Linda Hurd is the worst, she need to be fired, her manager Stephanie. They let BGE charge us 300-600 for just gas for two years and when we filed a complaint with there office
They close our complaint twice siding with BGE. Never requested any supporting documents from BGE showing they wasn't over charging for gas. And when we filed another complaint they dismissed that because LINDA HURD dismissed the first one. NO INVESTIGATION WAS DONE BY THIS OFFICE AT ALL. Now we have to pay $165 to have a court judge review our bills something that this office should have done. But they lazy clearly nobody comes work they come to set on ther tails all day doing NOTHING. I will be going further with my complaint. STEPHANIE sent a email saying they got BGE to waive a security deposit they added onto our bill after 3 years of living in our house. They waived that but didn't waive the fraudulent charges from our account though. Everyone needs to be FIRED.
