I am frustrated and disappointed that I see five star reviews for Repair Pal and Tani. I purchased my car from Car Max they marketed this warranty company guarantees peace of mind. I bought in. The last repair was covered and delivered that peace of mind. However, I had to take my vehicle back to same body shop (Repair Pal Partner=RPP) who has had my vehicle since December 23, 2024 and this Repair Pal Partner is refusing to submit the total cost estimate and parts list to the ESP (Extended Service Provider) since the RPP completed the tear down in February 6, 2025. I looped in Repair PAL on April 6, 2025 and been in touch with Tani on April 7 and April 16. No out of office reply to my follow up email on April 20 so recirculated today April 25. Frustrated and disappointed. Now Repair PAL is ignoring our concern just as their certified RPP Beach Auto Repair (Virginia Beach, VA). Car Max gets a commission for selling Max Care warranties and has zero interest with Max Care Extended Warranty Service. Yelp spent $80 million to purchased Repair Pal who profits $30 million in revenue Quarter 4 of 2024. Yet, my depreciated 2018 vehicle is in the hands of a body shop I selected because Repair Pal listed them as an approved Repair Pal Partner in accordance with my Extended Service Provider’s warranty contract. I hope this touches others in similar situation or considering to purchase the warranty contract agreement and STEER them away from spending their hard earned money on warranty coverage that is crap. I can’t say enough great things about RepairPal and the rep I worked with, Chimene! Chimene was so kind, explained everything to me in detail, her communication was 12/10 and she helped me resolve a huge issue that I had between my warranty company and the garage I used for car repairs. Before I was in contact with RepairPal, I felt like I was playing monkey in the middle between two companies that didn’t want to accept fault for their errors and left me with a bill that I should not have had to pay. Once Chimene was involved, she handled everything for me! In the end, I was able to be reimbursed for several hundred dollars in extra money that I was forced to pay to get my car back. I felt so defeated before RepairPal got involved and now, my faith in humanity is restored! Thank you again to Chimene and RepairPal for going above and beyond to help me!

I had such a bad experience dealing with a car warranty covering certain parts. I had a miscommunication between the insurance company and the shop that was completing my repairs. The miscommunication was leaving me to pay almost 2K out of pocket which I was not at all happy with. I received RepairPal information and was connected with Chimene and from start to finish she was AMAZING!!!!! She was able to get everything squared away quickly and contact was amazing. When another issue arouse I reached not to her again and she was able to have everything worked out within 30min. Iam overly satisfied and believe she went above and beyond. The first phone call she told me she will make the problem her headache not mine and I can fully say that’s exactly what she did.

Repair pal has now made it right twice for me. Some garages don't honor the deductible set up by the contract I purchased, so twice now, RepairPal has reimbursed me the difference. Chimene has been a pleasure to work with and has great communication skills. Thank you Chimene for all your help!
