Love this place! The comedy show I attended was very fun. The staff is friendly and attentive. Drinks are well priced. The regular bouncers are so nice and professional! The night I visited, there were 3 wonderful gentleman outside the club advertising a free comedy show. The gentleman who resembles Danny Devito was very kind and inviting. I will definitely be back!

Great spot to watch a game with more TVs than most on 6th Street. They normally have live music or a DJ. Outdoor seating and a balcony.

The beers were a little expensive at $7 each for cans of Shiner Bock, but the bartender was nice.

We went around 6:00pm on a Friday.

Friendly dive bar, at least it was at 2pm, you kinda get the feeling things change in the evening when you walk into the Boyz room and the sit-down has been changed to a standup. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the sunny day and watched the creatures go by

Nothing about this place indicates any connection to Shakespeare.
The 3 men I believe are Bouncers are unprofessional and racist. 3 GROWN men chanting out racial slurs to a YOUNG adult driving by.
I do not recommend this place.
You can get cheaper drinks with a better vibe and way better service at any other bar.

Went here to watch my nephews band play. Very warm welcome from the staff. Including Kevin who offered me a hot spot off his phone as I'd got no data. A long thin downstairs bar had a live music act. There were pool tables out back. Upstairs has a house band on a Thursday. They were great fun. There are two bars upstairs. It's a big sprawling venue with good vibes and a flow of 6th street people coming in during the night. Wonderful open balcony upstairs where the band play.

Great little pub in the heart of downtown Austin. We stopped in for a round of drinks on a weeknight. It was relatively slow then, but so was ever other place in the area. Drinks and service were excellent, and we found the prices to be very fair. Definitely a great little watering hole worth checking out, especially if you enjoy live music.

A buddy of mine recommended this place to me, but when I attended. I tought it was a gay ppl pub, because they where alot of dudes holding hands and they was playing fruity music. I immediately left and will never return, this place is a hangout spot for transgenders and gay men. This place was terrible!!!!

I love this bar, and it has made me feel the most at home since I moved here. I love every member of the staff. Beers are reasonably priced for 6th st. They do not take google or apple pay. They have stand up comedy 4 nights a week upstairs. Karaoke on Tuesday downstairs. The other nights they have a DJ, or live music. It's a very welcoming environment all around.
