I highly recommend Shandrika, even though I've never met her. My wife and MIL interviewed several realtors, and selected Shandi, who came highly recommended from the assisted living facility my MIL was moving into. They could not have made a better decision! From Day One, Shandi made our side of the process so much easier and added tremendous value to the property. She set us up with a local contractor, who was excellent and very reasonably priced. She waked through the property with my wife, explaining what repairs/upgrades should be done to facilitate the sale, and which items would not likely bring a return. She set up a deep cleaning, and did an excellent job in staging the property. She even completely took care of the garage, which was full of the left over furniture and other items (some garbage) that could not be moved. She really went over and above what I would expect from a listing agent.

The property is still available for sale, but that is just a function of the market, and timing (going into Thanksgiving). I think most realtors would suggest a price drop after a month or so on the market. But Shandi is smart enough, and watching out for out best interests, to know that a price drop doesn't stimulate demand. We just need to be a little patient, probably wait until the first of the year when buyers start to come back out, and then we will get a fair price. And when we do, I have complete confidence that Shandi will be there to get us to a smooth closing!
