The arrogance and unprofessionalism at this company is startling. I thought I would help them out and I purchased 3 obsolete 1/3 octave EQ's from their bargain list. These heavy EQ's arrived in one box with almost no packing material. None of them were wrapped in even a single layer of bubble wrap. As I am taking the EQ's out of the box I am also taking the broken pieces of the EQ's out of the box. There is nothing Pro about PSSL. I unsubscribed and please loose my number and do not ever email me or call me. I will never again do business with PSSL. This is following my previous transaction where a different employee misrepresented an item on a $2,000. purchase. He got fired for that after sending misrepresented item (shipped something missing parts and different from what was pictured) he hung up on me on the telephone, but it looks like hiring incompetent people, not supervising them, and shoddy service is still the rule of the day at PSSL. You're an embarrassment to the industry and an insult to those of us dedicated at a pro level. Thank you (not) for wasting my time, seducing me with your nice offer, and then defrauding me and destroying the gear I purchased. I should return it to you except that I do not want to waste any more time with this company, or hear your voice of wonderment on the telephone as I have to again explain to you the basics of commerce. Fool me once. Boy am I dumb for returning to do business with this company. Just do me one favor, tell the person in the shipping dept to put some packaging in the box and not send electronics smashing into each other for the duration of handling and travel.

Purchased 8 speakers from PSSL but instead of a friendly call to say thanks for the order, instead I received a call saying that the website doesn't keep an accurate quantity of products in-stock so they could not honor the order. They did offer for me to purchase the same product as "new" but would have to charge the price of the new speakers. I agreed to those terms and paid the additional amount above what I had already paid. The next day I received another call in which they then again went back on their agreed upon listed price for the new speakers because apparently the website also didn't have the accurate price for the new speakers, and that they also wouldn't honor the listed "free shipping". At this point I was wondering if anything on this giant international company had anything on their website that wasn't false advertising. The sales person was very nice but also said how embarrassed he was to have to keep calling me with these issues. So he suggested I speak with his manager David. A few days later David finally returned my call, to no avail, as David refused to do anything to rectify the repeated misrepresentation. Only suggesting I cancel the order. The level of dismissive treatment David dished out was unreal. Here is the real kick in the teeth though. When I told David that another retailer online was selling the same speakers for $9 more than their "inaccurate" price and that he should at least honor their 110% Price Guarantee policy, to which David's reply was him scoffing and I quote "Other retailers get different pricing than us", isn't that the point of the whole price guarantee? So to recap, they don't honor the quantities listed, they don't honor their pricing, they don't honor their free shipping when listed, and they don't even honor their prized price guarantee policy. The only thing you will be guaranteed when doing business with PSSL is them going back on their promises and policies. Do yourself a favor and save the time, headache, and lies and purchase your gear elsewhere, I mean that's what they keep begging me to do so you should probably do the same.

On a side note, Kevin the salesperson was great, very kind and understanding. Management aka David, who was all too eager to blame everyone and everything rather than being accountable and fixing the problem has no business being in any management role whatsoever as he has demonstrated that he is not a team player or has a single shred of customer service expertise.

In response to PSSL reply:
Your team didn't just error on quantities available. You also didn't honor the price you had listed on the new product. Then you didn't stand by your listed "free shipping" and to top it all off PSSL refused to stand by their 110% price match guarantee. That is 4 things that your company falsely promoted in order to deceive and profit off of customers. It's not just embarrassing it's flat out fraud.

Update: A higher level of management reached out to resolve the above issues and has agreed to indeed stand by their pricing and shipping listings. In light of the circumstances they went above and beyond in assisting me in acquiring another piece of gear I needed. While I greatly appreciate the resolve I wish it wouldn't have had to reach this level in order to just buy some speakers. Increased rating thanks to higher level of management doing a good job of damage control.

Follow-up Update: I have had a few more experiences with PSSL and in some cases it seems like they are improving. They're website still has incorrect listings at times, but they're customer service appears to have stepped up their game.

I would not recommend using this website or company. There’s only one person that can help you if things go wrong and they will always tell you that that person is on lunch when you call if you have an issue I placed an order on the website said I could get by the 16th and I would receive 20% off with a promo code, somehow after the cart, the promo code was not applied and when I called to inquire, they also informed me that the items were not in stock, and would be sometime before I receive them as they had to order them from the supplier they just have the items on their website, but never keep them in stock apparently, then when I needed to cancel once again, my one representative from this, what looks like large company is on lunch, and no one else can cancel it. So I am stuck waiting for them to return to confirm my cancellation. Just an inconvenience and the attitude on the phone sucks with their customer service reps. Would recommend using Amazon or Dj now or any other Dj website as they are all amazing I have used this company for 20 years and in the last five years they have gone downhill. I think they are an under new ownership I would it looks like.
In reference to the response, they were not able to reach me because I informed them multiple times while on the phone with the rep that I was on a cruise with limited service and no cell service and must handle the situation at the time that I had called and I could not wait for a callback for a very simple request that I needed. I had them on the phone and they could have done it and did not. They told me that they would call me back as I mentioned before but that wasn’t sufficient as now I don’t have phone service for the next seven days and I don’t know if my issue will be resolved before the order ships. Completely unacceptable. I will have to call back in seven days when I get back home but thanks for the response to my review. At least that shows a little bit of care I will up my review on the star for that.
