Hi,

This internship was very dynamic when connecting to others, and communicating within your own department and to others. Colleagues do communicate very fast through there instant message and communication platform. (Slack). People do get back to you as fast as they can when it comes to getting ahold of someone in the department or a different department.

Besides the communication, the internship itself is very flexible between hours, and how many hours you can commit to the projects outside of a workplace - because this is remote.

The only thing I would suggest is to develop more instructions and informational videos about editing and creating videos/films and creating graphics. More videos about group work, and having a group work development film or video regarding a team development assignment while in the breakout room, or outside of work hours.

As a remote, journalist intern, I honestly had an absolute great learning experience. Getting my foot in the door in the working world for my dream job of becoming a sports analyst was the goal, and I've now checked that off. For my very first internship, Mr. Kost was very responsive and allowed me to learn a ton of valuable components about the marketing and media world, as well as how it really works.

I was extremely grateful to spend three months in the internship program with Sports Media, Inc.  I learned a lot more about managing an HR team and putting onboarding personnel into practice.  This organization provides individuals with no sports-related job experience the opportunity to learn new skills or sharpen their already hard & soft skills in various departments, such as HR, Social Media, Sales & Marketing, Paralegal, etc.  I highly recommend this organization to anyone who wants to start a career in sports marketing.

Overall, the experience was great. I had the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge in marketing, OpenAI, CRM, sales, and project management. I have learned a lot in 90 days.

Beyond the completion of my projects, I believe that my biggest take away is that everyone can become a leader regardless of who you are or your background. When I first started, I remember feeling insignificant within the company and eventually with dedication and hard work I was able to become more important as the weeks went by. This shows you we can all be leaders if we set our minds to it. For that reason, I feel that out all the experiences and takeaways this is the biggest one for me.

For that reason, I believe that this is a wonderful opportunity if you want to learn how to be successful in today’s business environment.

The Skill bridge I did with Sports Media Inc. was educational and I learned new things to do with the Graphics Department, although it was a bit confusing at the beginning and disorganized.

The experience is highly rewarding, and the more effort you put in, the more you’ll gain. Throughout the program, I developed essential leadership and teamwork skills while contributing to a variety of projects and learning valuable tools and programs.

Working as a Video Intern at Sports Media Inc was an amazing experience. I had a place to learn and grow in my craft, and had people that would constantly give me feedback on my work. The work environment was great and I really enjoyed my time with the company. They are also very understanding about your school and work schedule which was very important to me as I worked for my university and was a full time student while doing my internship.
