We drove an hour from Illinois for my son's birthday dinner. They let us know when we came in that we had 8 minutes to order before the regular dining menu was over. We apologized for coming in so last minute, online it said they were open until midnight so we thought we had plenty of time. Apparently that is just for the bar side. Luckily we had looked at the menu earlier as we drove there and we quickly ordered. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. We had the short faced bear fries with brisket, the house bread with beer cheese, bbq wings, a sampler and some other things. It was all so great I couldn't pick a favorite thing. We will definitely be back soon and allow plenty of time before closing.

The green beans were great. The macaroni and cheese tasted like slightly warm cream cheese. The chicken was alright but did include a bone.
The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was nice.
The food was overpriced for the quality. The menu was only one page.

Our group had a great time at Teays. The atmosphere was very clean and hospitable. The service was great! Reed did a great job of taking care of our table and providing us with a welcoming experience. The food was delicious for everyone! We had bread with beer cheese as an appetizer. It was my first time trying beer cheese and it was enjoyable. I had the smoked bourbon mustard chicken wings with fries. The wings were a definite winner. I had bourbon carmell apple crisp for dessert with a scoop of ice cream. It was perfect to finish off the lunch. They also have a really cool brewery. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

While on a recent trip to Lafayette, a family member suggested I try this place out. I managed to make it over here recently.

We came on a Thursday at around 7 PM and they were a little busy but we got a table. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to us. I got the Brisket sandwich with house made chips as my entree. Overall it was pretty average. The meat was tender but lacked in seasoning, but the chips were pretty good.

Overall, Teays, a pretty decent experience. I might come back to try their pizza!

Firstly, I absolutely love this brewery and have dined there for a few years now. I order every lunch I have at my second job from this establishment, which is weekly and at times daily. I have spent countless dollars here. So that leads into my concern and lower rating- I ordered my usual meal, they likely know me by name at the front counter by now, and returned to work. I only get one break usually as I have multiple responsibilities running the building. I finally sat to eat around 9:30 pm and my chicken breast was raw. I’ve not had this issue before, but I did have to waste it. I took photos to show validity so when they opened the following day I could possibly resolve it. I called and spoke to a manager explaining the situation, asked her to look up my rewards to show I literally eat there every other day, and asked if I could get a replacement chicken breast. She was less than understanding about healthcare and the fact that one break was a shock to begin with, and told me there was nothing she could do to right the wrong because I didn’t bring it back and it was the day prior (closed by time I could eat), even with the fact that I am a loyal, repeating customer. I found this a little unnerving as it was closed before I could eat my food regardless and she wasn’t even willing to right it. I think they could improve on this portion of service, otherwise it’s a wonderful place with good food.

Some friends and I went to dinner at Teays River this evening. We got right in and got seated. A friend and I shared the Sampler platter, which had wings, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, sweet potato fries and dip, etc. All of the food was excellent. If you're looking for a quiet place to dine, this isn't it. But the service was good and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back there again. I recommend it for the quality of the food. Also, there are plenty of choices on the menu.

We were looking for some good brews & burgers after a day of hiking at Turkey Run! We found exactly that here at Teays! Our server was attentive, the food was delicious, and the day was perfect for some patio sitting!
