I fell for all the good reviews and went there for dinner from the hotel next door. Not a good idea as the chips & fish, because there were plenty of chips but a small, tail end of greasy fried fish on top. Probably the worst I’ve ever had. Even the chips had no flavor to them until we asked for salt. Asked for ketchup and received three small packets of McDonald’s size ketchups with one of those even being bbq sauce. Guys working had little enthusiasm and seemed put out to wait on us. Only bright spot was the beer was fine. Should’ve stayed next door and had a nice dinner at the Isola Sacro hotel.

Authentic pub beers and good food in this friendly local place in Fumicino.

It offered exactly what we wanted after our long travels with very good fish and chips, appetizers and beer.

Friendly staff/owners with a good following of locals.

The fries and onion rings were good. But the pizza and burger were definitely not. The nachos were the crumbs from the bottom of the bag in a bowl soaking in the toppings and they were completely soggy. We asked for a vegetarian pizza and they absolutely covered it with thawed frozen spinach and didn't use cheese. The waiter literally sat down to have a beer with someone and forgot about half our order ? Do yourself a favor and just continue down the main street a bit, there are other restaurants close by.

BOOM! What an awesome find after eating Italian for 9 days straight! All the western goodies....8 or so bourbons, nachos, burgers and fries, ribs.

Friendly manager and staff. If you're from the states you'll love this place.

We stayed at the hotel next door the day before we were to fly home from Fiumicino Airport.

We chose not to eat at the hotel restaurant. We found The Owl Public House. Loved it! We had been on a cruise and just wanted something familiar to eat and quick.

My husband had Fish & Chips, I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. Both meals were very good. The place was not huge but it was comfortable. Two televisions were showing a Football/Soccer game. It felt like a real Irish Pub in Italy!

Very disappointed. The hours all indicated operation until 1am. We arrived around 11pm and was told that the kitchen was closed. No indication anywhere on the website. I know kitchens close early but this was a surprise as most pubs I’ve been to shut the kitchen down around 1hr before close. Couldn’t even whip up a batch of fries or something quick.

We stayed at a hotel near the airport for a morning flight out. This pub was within walking distance from the hotel. I loved everything about this place. Wonderful atmosphere, great drink selection, and the cheeseburger I ordered was the best I've had in years!!
