I took my post 21 special needs group here for a trip and it was a huge hit. The space is large, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with our big crew. The lovely staff behind the counter was encouraging and patient with our aim to have our members be independent when ordering. One of the owners welcomed us and gave game recommendations based on our size and needs of the group. Oh and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend this location for groups who want to be a part of the community. On a more personal note, as an individual who loves board gaming, i really appreciated the selection of quality games with many being recent releases. I can't wait to go back with friends and with our special needs crew at Limitless.

Billy and the team were great about communicating as we planned the menu for our daughter's birthday party at the Baird. There were several food allergies to accommodate and they sourced and made a gluten free, dairy free, and soy free pizza and a taco station for them. It turned out delicious! All the party guests remarked on how tasty everything was.

Imagine a super kid friendly place located in a former grand estate overlooking parks and ballfields where you and your cohort can play virtually every board game known to man for free. And drink some of the best coffee in New Jersey. And get a wide variety of delicious fresh cooked food. And watch football on Sundays. This place exists, and it is The Player Agency. I take my two sons age 10 and six here at least twice a week. If you're ever in the South Orange / Maplewood area at a loss for what to do with your kids for an hour or two, this is your answer.

I have also cured a hangover with their egg sandwich once or twice.

We held my son's birthday party at The Baird and served food from the Player Agency. The kid absolutely loved the chicken tenders and fries. One kid told me they were the best she's ever had, and 6 year olds would know! Billy and team were so easy to work with. Can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! Finally, a café run by Board and Tabletop gamers, who understand the needs and wants of fellow gamers.

The space is Awesome. Lots of little nooks to plan in as well as several big spaces. Themed nights are awesome. There is a selection of games there but feel free to bring your own and spread out. Maybe make some new friends.

The food is also great. Served up quick and professionally. It’s counter service, but all of the food is a high-quality. The staff is awesome!

Highly recommend checking it out. This is going to be my new home away from home.

We had my son’s 1st birthday party at the cafe at Baird and it was perfect! Billy was so easy to work with, helping to plan the ideal menu for our guests. The food was delicious and the space is great. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience hosting our recent sports banquet at the Baird Cafe and were so happy with the Player Agency - Billy and his team were easy to work with, accommodated our special requests, and the food was delicious. Furthermore, the Baird Cafe space is beautiful and it was so nice to celebrate our team "at home" in our local community center.
