Absolutely gorgeous venue for a live intimate concert. Be mindful when picking tickets that you do not sit behind a pole. I thought I did really good at choosing a seat without that obstruction and when we arrived one seat had limited visibility

It's an institution and they frequently choose interesting new shows to put on here. Not everything hits, but that's the cost for having interesting, unusual options. Definitely check out the calendar and try to go see a show or two.

Joseph Papp's generous spirit lives on in this humble and lovable theater.
Great productions in an intimate setting.

11/22. Went to see Rasin in The Sun, great performance. First time at the Pyblic theater, you can see it from the subway Aster Place, 6 train. There are several theaters. I had difficulty with the electrinc ticket and was able to will call.

Joe's Pub experience was excellent. Nice service, food and drinks were very good, and the acoustic of the place is extraordinary!!!!!!

A great Theatre to see live performances. Ambience and acoustics are very good. Staff is courteous and helpful. The facilities are clean and well kept. Food and beverages are available as well. Worth seeing live theatre in this venue.

The Public is a NYC institution. Joe Papp did so much to nurture new theatre and this space and its productions are a testament to that. The place is beautiful with several different stages, Joe's Pub, and the Library restaurant. Truly a must-see/do.
