As much as I wanted to fall in love with this beautiful place, the beer selection was not the best for this stout lover. If you’re in the mood for a Guinness though, this is your jam. I’m an avid fish and chips lover, and although the fish was beautifully fried and buttered, and the fish juicy, yet flaky… the batter reminded me more of a funnel cake batter and didn’t bring out the flavor of the fish. The regular American fries weren’t chips at all, although they claimed to be hand cut, were nothing special and rather soggy. Although service was prompt, there was never a smile from our server. The bar and the bookish decor was quaint and lovely within the large space, and I felt a bit like Belle in the Beasts library, which was awesome. Unfortunately, without a great selection of beer and the ā€œnothing to write home aboutā€ menu, we probably won’t come back.

This place was such a great find! It’s cozy, unique, and has such a friendly vibe. Andrew, our server, was amazing—seriously the definition of great customer service. He was super attentive, approachable, and made the whole experience even better.

For dinner, I went with the mac and cheese and the pub burger. The burger was the standout for me—simple yet perfectly juicy, just the right size, and paired with crispy fries and a tangy pickle on the side. It totally stole the show. The mac and cheese was also a win—comforting, flavorful, and not overdone.

I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m excited to dive into their beer selection!

What used to be a cozy little place is now a cozy big place. Great beer selection on tap and good bartenders to mix drinks. It’s British food so one should not expect anything with outstanding flavors. But still good for what they are. Excellent place to hang out with friends and have a pint or four.

This place is amazing! We went here because my wife, Marina ReneĆØ loves haunted venues. But, we were immediately impressed by the ambiance. Immediately impressed by the quality of service. Immediately impressed by the quality of food. I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie. The best I’ve had outside of Australia and London. We also had some great half pour beers and a few North Hampton gins. But it’s all about the ambiance and service.

Typical pub food was very tasty and they were able to accommodate and egg allergy. It would have been a better experience if we'd known more of the history of the place as well as the "haunted" history too. Major down side was the requirement for a reservation. Their website doesn't even hint one is needed. Service was excellent as were drink choices.

Will certainly go again to hang out longer and get a good look at the pub as a whole.

Great atmosphere and drinks but the ā€œIrish nachosā€ ($12) made us laugh out loud - Lay’s chips with nacho cheese?! Maybe the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever been served.

Great place. Hasn’t been since its last incarnation. This version is fantastic. Room is opened up with a book lined wall, bar staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food (Irish nachos with corned beef) was just what I wanted for a late night snack with my pint.
Special kudos to Colin for vision and ability to make the experience that much more memorable.

Great English Pub with lots of good English beers on tap. Old Speckled Hen was amazing! Loved their bangers and Mash and they have Coleman's Mustard and HP Sauce just like in the UK! Overall great place, just FYI this isn't an English Pub to watch soccer at but it's amazing regardless!
