I worked for 2 summers for Vantage. Well one summer and then a full year as a manager. It was good money for someone my age. I learned a lot, I worked a lot. I was invited back for a second summer.

I recruited, I met the CEO, I recruited a massive team, I trained them all, on my own time. There were doubts, so they sent another manager to "help" me. Turns out the guy was just buddies with the regional and had even less practical knowledge of sales then I did, even though he was a "veteran". Made the whole summer unbearable.

Personally met with one of the Founders and the regional manager on multiple occasions.

They single handedly helped me realize I never wish to engage in business the way they do.

Incredibly unimpressed and would wholeheartedly recommend D2D at another company.

Tried working one summer and it unfortunately didn’t work out and they sent us home, they said they would cover all costs since we were never paid anything. I got a call 3 years after this saying, that they never got in contact with the electric company and it has been going against my credit ever since. If I would’ve known I needed to take care of it sooner I would’ve. I was unaware of anything until a collection agency got ahold of me. When I reached out to the company they just left my messages on read and didn’t really seem to care much. It’s ruined my credit and I’ll have to work a long time to get it back where it needs to be. Was not fair for them to not tell me I needed to pay it. Nor was it fair of them to not pay it nor me. I never made any money to get to pay anything 🙂

I was an employee and worked as a sales rep for Vantage. Worst summer job ever. They broke their side of the contract over and over again and wouldn't do anything about it. I tried calling headquarters who wouldn't give me the time of day. My manager leading our team of 16 rookies and one experienced rep left a month into the summer leaving us by ourselves. Don't work for them, they don't care about their reps.

I switched from Aptive and had a wonderful experience. I thought Aptive was the only professional company I could be successful with but because of some good friends I decided to give Vantage a shot and my expectations were exceeded. I know that I had more success this summer than I would have with Aptive because of the more skilled training and better incentives that Vantage offers.

These people are actual weirdos. Texting me in the middle of the night. Dan from Vantage Marketing thinks contacting people in the middle of the night is appropriate for odd reason. Stay clear of unprofessional weirdos like these people.

I sold for them for 2 years and I thought they were the best company. I would really shop around before selling for them to make sure. So much will depend on your manager. That’ll really dictate how your summer will be. There are other companies who pay better and have more structure.
