From the outside Cassidys really doesn't look anything special, it looks like just an ordinary bar, an Irish Pub, a bit of a dark and dingie front door and entrance area and indeed it's not anything special but it knows what it is and does what it knows very well; that's good beer, good hospitality and decent food for your money.

But once inside it's a warm, friendly and is clearly a really popular bar that has plenty of atmosphere with very welcoming staff to boot. The decor is plain and simple, with tables, bar stools and high-tops with the walls adjourned with old signs, TVs showing sports and themed pictures.

The menu is straight forward, simple and quite basic but it's reasonably priced and from what we had it wasnt bad. I had buffalo wings whilst my wife had the French onion soup 🍲, which she really enjoyed. Great choice of beers.

The service was really good. The restrooms were clean.

Don’t sleep on the nachos! (With beef). But honestly everything was awesome. We got beef stew, French onion soup, and JAMBALYA. Classic Irish cuisine am I right? They nailed it either way. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Totally check it out.

Great little spot. Happy with the food. Some of the drink prices were more than expected but it is New York I suppose! Friendly staff, pool table, great Christmas decorations! Would come back.

Lovely bar, attentive bartenders & very good food. It’s always a pleasure to meet beautiful bartenders that know what they are doing. Highly recommend this little slice of joy. Come by & eat drink & be merry😉🍺🍻🍷🍸🍹🥂🐣🐓🍗

Loved it. Great place to grab a drink and a bite. Sports bar vibes, and the ambiance was fantastic. Great service, everyone was nice and polite. I enjoyed my meal, and I found the pricing very reasonable considering the proximity to tourist spots (Time Square, Central Park and plenty more iconic spots). Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to go back. Cheers!

I’m going to start out this review by saying that the nachos are worth the visit in and of themselves. Probably some of the best nachos I’ve had in a couple of years. It tasted like there was homemade tortillas

We sat at the window in the girls behind the bar were incredibly quick friendly, and checked up on us several times.

The bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of hilarious writing on the walls to read.

We went during happy hour, and the drinks for a reasonably priced, and the Irish coffee was excellent for a hot drink on a cold day

We popped in one snowy afternoon for a couple of pints of Bud Light, a sandwich and nachos. All in all it was fine, the food was nice enough. The location is good, and there was plenty of room. However, on our visit, the Bud was cloudy and didn't taste as crisp as it should, a sign that the beer pipes need cleaning.
Another negative was the additional fee for paying by card that was automatically added to the bill, before they even know if you're paying card or cash. This wasn't a city tax or fee, as that was added to the bill separately.
