From walking in the door the staff was great. My beer was warm. I didn’t say anything about that. I worked in kitchens for over 17 years so I know how this goes. My nachos were awful. The cheese was put on directly in the middle, wasn’t spread out or layered. I guess they ran out of pico and just gave me diced tomatoes. They never told me or ask me if I wanted something else. When it was brought to our server’s attention. She asked me if I wanted more. I told her I don’t want diced tomatoes. She rolled her eyes and walked away. We had also told her my girlfriend’s burger was well done and she asked for medium. So someone else came over and brought us out to go boxes. Nobody wanted to fix anything. It was like they acted like nothing happened. We didn’t even eat the food. They didn’t care at all. Please don’t eat here the food is terrible and they get mad when you don’t like it.

Monday night. Vibes are dope, service was great, food was fantastic. What more could you ask for to close out a Monday night?

Potentially the best salad I’ve had in Pittsburgh in quite some time. Arsenal Salad: mixed greens, red onion, cucumber, grape tomato, cheese blend, grilled chicken and of course, a few fresh cut fries…. Straight fire. Very reasonably priced for the portion size as well. 10/10

Industry always has the largest selection of delicious beer, spirits, and other fun drinks, as well as good food but recently I went to a fun beer dinner event there they did with Dogfish Head Brewing and WOW not only was it affordable but the food portions were HUGE and Delicious in addition to the great beer styles carefully paired with each dish. The attention to detail was not missed here- the food was the perfect temperature and had to come out for 30 ppl at a time. The unique ingredients like sweety peppers placed delicately around the plate and the time and effort going into the chef's pecans and ice cream for the oatmeal cookie dessert knocked my socks off. Last but actually noticed FIRST! The staff not only was constantly attentive but the manager worked along side them all as well as a full team effort. Don't hesitate to stop by Industry soon & better yet, have an event or attend an event here with a large group!

I had the BEST experience at Industry and it was all thanks to Barbie behind the bar! From the second I sat down, she was welcoming, kind, and incredibly accommodating. She made amazing drink recommendations, checked in often without hovering, and created such a good vibe that I didn’t want to leave. It’s rare to find bartenders who make you feel like a regular on your first visit, but Barbie nailed it. Industry is lucky to have her—she truly made the night unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

Place was pretty popping on a Friday night! Unfortunately the popcorn was quite terrible and maybe should just be something that is off the menu. It was burnt and flavorless and had multiple people at our table laughing about how bleak it was. Also, an up charge for a ā€˜on the rocks’ or ā€˜neat’ pours is very unusual in Pittsburgh as a customer it feels pretty lame. It is on the menu though so I really should have read it more carefully I guess.

Our server was kind and attentive though! I will eventually give this place another chance though because the actual food looks pretty decent.

On October 27, 2024, a guest and I dined at Industry Public House in Lawrenceville. The industrial-chic decor and warm lighting created a welcoming atmosphere, and we were excited to try a variety of dishes thanks to the generous portion sizes, which made sharing easy.

We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was beautifully presented and had a fresh, flavorful taste that paired well with a light sauce. The Loaded Pierogies were a treat, topped with caramelized onions, cheese, and bacon—a true comfort food experience with a twist.

For entrees, the Arsenal Chicken Salad was a solid choice, with fresh greens, grilled chicken, and a nice mix of veggies, cheese, and dressings on the side.

The Thai Chicken Flatbread initially looked promising with its array of toppings, but the taste fell short. It was rather bland and dry, and it lacked a sauce that could have elevated the overall flavor. Similarly, the Grilled Mahi Tacos had a kick of spice but were also dry and underwhelming, again missing any sauce to balance the heat and enhance the dish.

Industry Public House has a unique selection of cocktails that will appeal to those who enjoy creative mixed drinks. However, the wine selection left something to be desired, especially for sweet wine enthusiasts. Most of the options leaned toward dry or mixed with mildly sweet elements, but they didn’t quite capture the natural sweetness I prefer in a wine.

Service was prompt and friendly. Nikki, our server, made sure everything was just right, providing recommendations and checking in without being intrusive.

The Harvest Pear Fizz—a unique cocktail that added a fun twist to the meal.

In closing, the Industry Public House offers a lively spot with an extensive cocktail menu, but a few tweaks in flavor and wine variety could make the dining experience even better.

Cool place, but If you want to know how NOT to make bread pudding, this is the place to go. Worst bread pudding i've ever had. Very dry. Wheres the sauce? And who serves a "slice" of bread pudding. It should be scooped or spooned, it should be chunky and moist and have sauce. The ice cream that comes with it was fantatstic though. Pierogies were good. Pretzel and beer cheese were great.
