Great pub in downtown Carrollton. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, we were warmly greeted and quickly seated.
Very friendly server was welcoming and efficient. We love the overall vibe of this place. The bar appears to have an incredible selection of any libation you want.
We stayed true to the Irish theme and ordered the fish and chips and Shepard’s Pie.
You could tell they were fresh made, and the pie was made to order.
We camp at John Tanner Park, and will add Irish Bred to our rotation of local restaurants in Carrollton. You know what, you should too.

Fish and chips are excellent. Fried cod perfectly cooked not greasy! Atmosphere is ok, bar is supplied with top end to low end. Service was good and fair on pricing. Fried green tomatoes good.

I enjoyed lunch here while visiting the university for a conference. The pub is very clean and the service is attentive. The Guinness was poured properly, and the food portions were generous.

One of my favorite places to eat in Carrollton!!
Visited this week with my husband. He ordered a wrap and I ordered my usual corned beef & cabbage.
Corned beef was a little dry but not the norm, still a great bite. Ordered the potatoes fried at the waitress suggestion, this was a gamechanger for sure.
Atmosphere is cool/relaxed and decorated appropriately.

Overall a great visit as always.

Note to owner:
Some of the tables could use a refurb. The laquer is peeling badly and rough to dine on. Cups need to be replaced badly also. They are all chipping and badly worn, way past their prime.

The atmosphere was nice, we were seated quickly, and our service was good, unfortunately the food was just ok at best. I got the fish and chips and the fish was pretty tough and the batter was very thick. It was crispy but heavy and flavorless. The fries were cooked well, but they also just left me feeling a little ill after a while.

We were in town on a Saturday for a festival, since we love Irish pubs we saw Irish Bed and decided to try it for lunch around 1:00. It was crowded but we were seated promptly. The host took our initial drink order because he said they were very busy and our server would be with us. The server was very nice as was the host. I can't say enough good things about the staff, however it took us 47 minutes to get our food. The server did tell us it may be a longer wait and she kept checking on us, but it's just too long to wait for food. The food was good, not great. I love Reubens and this was tasty but not piled high like you expect from an Irish pub and the side of slaw was just a little plastic cup. Same for the Avocado BLT, not enough in between the bread. The reason for the slow service could be the cramp kitchen. The poor kitchen workers were elbows to elbows. Could be a great place if they can work on serve times and just add a little to the dishes.

Great little pub I just happened upon! So many tasty menu items - was hard to choose! Ended up with the Lucky Bird - turkey breast with bacon, cheddar cheese chunks, & an incredible Guiness-laced bbq sauce! & the bartender Madison was delightful! Only 505 miles RT, so I'll be back!

Cool place, lots of college kids, cool people, good vibes, good beer, good food, had the ruben sandwich, had better but it was good. Great wings!!! Lemon pepper were bomb! I would recommend this place for a good experience and good vibes!
