I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner. Wow! Luna Bakery is fabulous. Our friends told us about it and now I’ve gone twice in two days. Really enjoyed the pastries and sandwiches from Luna Bakery!
All the pastries are sourdough based, we tried almost everything and especially enjoyed the cherry danish, Nutella turnover, cardamom twist, croissant, chocolate croissant.
Sandwiches are available after 9am, I really enjoyed the tuna sandwich and salami.
They also had potato salad, lots of mixed veggie in there!
If you dine in, bottomless coffee! Woohoo~

Such a great selection of bread, pastries, and sandwiches! It’s so nice to see that they use organic ingredients. Staff were very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Clean single restroom.

I ordered the tuna salad sandwich. Focaccia bread was light and soft but held up when handling the tuna salad. Also tried the prosciutto and goat cheese, which was well balanced. Finished with a lemon tart which I would recommend if you want something a little more on the sweet & citrusy side.

This is a definite bookmark for me 😉

What a KNOCKOUT!! I adore this place now. I'm not sure why I waited 2 years after living here to finally check this place out but damn it's so good. The bread is incredible - texture, flavor, quality, and price. Super friendly staff. Creative menu options. And lots of great bread choices - all sourdough. a hidden gem - one of the best bakeries i’ve been to! tucked away in a random plaza coming back from joshua tree, well worth the stop. a must go everytime i’m in the area.

service was top tier as well!

cardamom bun: highly recommend. great doughy textures and subtle cardamom flavor

english scallion scone: one of the best scones i’ve had. perfectly buttery without drying out. scallion added nice savory flavor.

After being told to wait, we moved away from the doorway to let the other customers come in. Mustache guy who told us to wait went and helped out the guy and his child. Rude!!!! We were the only ones with a darker complexion in the bakery. So we felt ignored. But then came this gorgeous sweet woman who made us feel acknowledged, and she was absolutely the sweetest. She has tattoos and the most inviting smile. Thanks to you, we will be coming back for more goodies. Mustache... be nicer mann, you are the first person we saw. Should have been a bit more welcoming, and smiles are free.

After hearing rave suggestions from our local friends, I decided to stop over to get a few baked goods. The place is clean and bright. The young woman greeted me was friendly, and cheerful. I order Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Savory Scone, and Ham & Cheese Danish. The croissants were flaky, dense on the inside and buttery (4.5/5), the Pain au Chocolat is full of of chocolate from end-to-end (5/5). I saved the scone and danish for later. Now, I can get really breakfast baked goods while we winter in JT. Keep it up.
