Lovely place for happy hour or dinner. It's upscale yet casual and relaxed. Happy hour was great 1/2 off well drinks and $9 martinis. They are known for a variety of unique martinis, I ordered a pear type of martini (I forget the name), but it was excellent. Great menu and reasonably priced for the upscale atmosphere. I ended up going with the shepherd's pie for dinner. It was excellent. The service was phenomenal as we had a large party, and our server was super attentive, I never had an empty drink. He was able to keep everything organized when we all did separate checks. Overall, it was a great experience. Will return.

The most overrated restaurant in Bradenton. Food is average at best. Menu is limited, preparation is basic, piquancy is lacking. The drinks are not bad, but the prices leave a refined individual wanting. Location is great but no matter how much they dress it up it’s still downtown bradenton, and at least the hip hop crowd that previously frequented the area had some pizazz…

We were pleasantly surprised! We went to see a play at the Manatee Performing Arts Center last weekend and searched for nicely rated restraunts nearby. This place deserves all the 5 star reviews.

The service was attentive, we were able to call and get a table e0 minutes in advance as we left from St. Petersburg. I had the lobstergot (their take on lobster escargot and the soup of the day, a seafood chowder. Rich, rich, rich - in the most delicious way! Our guest had the shepherds pie which was flavorful and filling. My husband had the chicken sandwich (blackwned) and low and behold, we were all thrilled with our choices and shared!

The feel of the place (which is split into 3 sections is part dive bar - part casual upscale and somehow, it all works! The drinks are on par too. We lucked out choosing a random place we'd never been to and now, we'll go whenever we're in Bradenton!

I’ve been to O’Bricks several times over the years, and honestly, it was always just okay. Not bad, not great, just… there. A solid option when you couldn’t think of anywhere else to go but never the kind of place you’d wake up craving.

But Friday? Oh, Friday was different.

I don’t know if they got a new chef, new management, or if the food gods just decided to finally shine their light upon this Irish pub, but whatever happened, it worked. The food was on point. Jimmy had the crab cakes, which were so good I almost regretted not ordering them myself. But then I remembered my shrimp tempura and Caesar salad and had no regrets because those shrimp were crispier than my life decisions and the salad was chef’s kiss.

And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The kind that makes you think, ā€œYeah, I could definitely have one moreā€ until you suddenly realize you’ve had three, and now you’re contemplating ordering dessert just to sober up before you leave.

So shoutout to O’Bricks for finally making me a believer. If they keep this up, I might actually start recommending it instead of just ending up there.

I recently dined at O’Bricks in Bradenton, Florida, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I tried the shepherd’s pie, and it was absolutely delicious—comfort food at its best! And you can never go wrong with a chocolate martini for dessert.

I do hope they consider bringing back the meatloaf, as it was a favorite of mine and would be a fantastic addition to their already impressive menu. Overall, O’Bricks is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere!

We have gone on St. Patrick day for many years and Love this place. We also understand it's very busy this day and you have to have patience. They called about 2 hours before to let us know our table was running late and changed our time a half hour back. which was very nice of them, thank you. Why I gave the lower rating was after we were seated and she took our drink order they brought one drink at a time, it took over an hour for all our drinks to arrive. Our food came, still no drinks for some of us or bread. The waitress said it's our busiest day and the bar was busy. If so staff the bar better. The food was wonderful except the corned beef meat was so tuff the 3 who ordered could not cut or chew alot of it. It was the last 3 before they ran out. The waitress game back to check on us right as we were finishing our meal.
We will definitely go back but I thought the management should know what happened that night so as to be more prepared for next year.
Thank you

The appetizers were what we thought was a great main course to come. Between the bread served with pesto & olive oil, firecracker shrimp and Mike Carter full size chicken wings it was a great start. The shrimp we excellent and the dry rub used on the wings was excellent.
Unfortunately the the martini drinks were well short of the rim compared to other restaurants. Two of us ordered the blackened Grouper one was a regular and the other a petit size, both came out petit. Two other guests order their 1/2lbs burgers and were never asked how they wanted them. Both came out med to well down. Pretty dry and the fries were nothing special.
The salmon dish our other guests which was supposed to be petit was a hefty piece.

Service at times was slow. Almost felt like we were forgotten about at times. Mistakes were made or forgot what our sides were. Might have been a new server so gave her the benefit of the doubt. Needs a little more training. Has the potential to be even better if they figure out a couple things to make the experience better.

Spouse had a burger I had the blackened chicken sandwich. Both were good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere in the dining area was good the pub area looked pretty crowded. Happy hour wine is 1/2 off. Unfortunately for hubby beer happy hour was only a buck off.
