We went on a late weekday night. I've been here multiple times and the food is ok. It's a bit on the pricier side for upscale bar food.

My friends do like their mixed cocktail drinks.

I have visited Public House 131 more than a handful of times and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots! The cozy, welcoming atmosphere is perfect for a night out with family or friends. One of the highlights of my visit was their Mahi Mahi Tacos—absolutely mouthwatering! The fish was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were fresh and vibrant.

And let's not forget about their whiskey cocktails. I tried a couple of their concoctions, and each one was a delightful mix of smooth whiskey and creative flavors. The bartenders really know their stuff!

Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or just want to relax with a great drink, Public House 131 is the place to be. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommended!

English Toffee Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream is 💣

I ordered fish and chips. Their fried fish was ok but their fries were perfectly seasoned and with right amount of crunchiness. 👍🏼 I also really liked sweet potato fries.

The place was busy but our waiter was attentive. He recommended the dessert and it was worth the calories.

They also have a long list of beer on tap and offer happy hour. Don’t forget to check in for a treat!

Dog friendly patio with heaters. Weekend brunch was delicious. We had the Benedict and breakfast hamburger. Bother were fantastic. Bottomless mimosa is the way to go. We also enjoyed the Bloody Mary, I think the rest of San Diego could take a lesson on how to offer an 18$ Mary. (See Pics)

A fabulous lunch with good food, generous portions and INCREDIBLE service. Connor took excellent care of us as we celebrated a birthday lunch. The burger plate and onion rings were first rate, my Chicken Caesar salad was excellent and large. Best of all, we enjoyed the friendly, accommodating and professional service we received. Update review - We haven’t come back here for maybe almost a year and recently we found they updated their menu! I had fish & chips and my husband had a Serrano burger, both are very delicious! The fish is crunch outside and fresh & soft inside. Serrano burger has a good kick. We always enjoyed the vibe and service here. Nice place to hangout!
Previous review - My husband and I love having drinks before dinner and we found this bar in our neighborhood. We loved it! I love Rum-Mixed cocktails and my husband is a whiskey lover. We loved their special and unique cocktails. All the cocktails are very tasty and special, as well as really strong. There’s no Mai Tai on the menu and the bartender made a great one for me. We will definitely come back for more drinks. Maybe try their Happy Hour sometimes since the Happy Hour price looks a great deal.

The food is delicious (especially the wild mushroom ravioli), and the ambiance is perfect. Unfortunately, the service was not good at all, our waitress left without letting us know and this new waitress came to tell us that she would be our new waitress. She never returned.

First time visiting. Went on a Monday afternoon. It was not busy and we were immediately seated. The atmosphere was good because it was quiet with just a few customers present. I had their bbq boneless wings and fish tacos. The tacos were completely bland and tasteless & for $18 it was a big fail & the wings were just ok. I rate this restaurant 3 stars for good ambiance, good customer service and good drinks. I ordered the Bloody Mary and guava margarita which were both good. I won’t return but I’ll recommend for their drinks.
