Dinner on a Tuesday night around 5:30 pm. Plenty of seating. Service was excellent service and food was delicious! Fried calamari for appetizer and we got the colossal crab with lobster tail, coconut rice with kale and tomatoes. Cobb salad with an add-on or lobster tail. Will definitely come back.

We visited this spot right before a show at the Theatre. The service was friendly & attentive. Ambiance was great for us. The fried oysters & superb. The kale flavorful. I’ve had better lobster. We are very interested in the other menu items so we are definitely back.

We were invited to celebrate a birthday at Rockfish Public House - it was our first time there and we really enjoyed ourselves! The atmosphere was amazing; it’s between casual and upscale, with great service and delicious food. A little overpriced but admittedly scrumptious! I hope we have an excuse to come visit again soon.

Within short walking distance of the Yorktowne Hotel. Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. My crab cake was large and excellent! My wife enjoyed her scallops.

This place is a pleasant surprise!!
Street parking, not much of an issue. Also, parking garage around the corner.
Nice greeting by the host. Seated immediately.
Server Liz showed up promptly with a smile!
Drink order arrived soon after. We ordered the shrimp and crab egg rolls. LOTS of crab with shrimp to set it off. A creamy remoulade added to the flavor very well.
My entree was the colossal crab cake- literally ALL crab - and better tasting than ANY Maryland crabcake I've had! Hubby had the crabcake smash burger which was very tasty! Even my side of coconut rice and kale was divine!
This place truly deserves your visit!!
5 stars all the way!!

My husband, daughter, son in law & I had an early dinner as a belated Mother's Day gift for me. I can't say enough about the service, our waitress & the food. It was a relaxing atmosphere & a DJ was playing across the street. The prices are a little salty, but I firmly believe you get what you pay for & it was worth every penny!

One of the best dining options in Downtown York. Food quality and service is always top notch. Bartenders know how to prepare a proper cocktail. Great selection of raw oysters or opt for the Oysters Rockefeller. My personal favorites are the crab smash burger and the tuna poke nachos but I also enjoy the rotating fresh catch selections. If you are sitting at the bar, it's a great spot to take in a game as they have multiple screens that can be tuned to baseball, football, golf, racing, etc. This place is usually busy so it's a good idea to make a reservation if you are looking to dine at a specific time. But even without reservations, I can usually get a table in a reasonable period of time (it's worth the wait!).

Enjoyed happy hour with steamed clams and mussels and a half dozen Blue Point oysters. Crispy kale packed lot of flavor and the shrimp-crab rolls did not disappoint. The struggling college graduate got the lobster roll that was amazing! Finished it off with the flourless chocolate tart that made us all want seconds.
