Disappointed in my city's public center animal services. I called about a stray neighborhood cat that was injured and was told that due to the fact that I left some food/water for the poor cat, that they cannot help. Please reassess your policies and/or educate your staff.

Make sure your pet has a collar or a chip, because if it gets lost and found by someone else and they cannot verify they will assume the animal is wild, no provide any additional help, and wash their hands of any responsibility. This little rabbit was found in front of our home, didn’t run, didn’t bite. Wild rabbits usually run based on all the on evidence encountered working outside. But I guess this dude is still considered wild so I’m supposed to put him back outside. Disappointing.

Good service. But too many homeless people around that city, as they never really do anything about it at all. When they supposed to, in the first place. Also as parking enforcement for street sweeping, they sometimes skip showing up on a certain day or week despite non-holiday.

Helpful staff can assist with dog licensing, among other things. Easy access location for anyone, including those in a wheelchair. Ask about dog vaccination events they hold for residents. Makes it so easy to get shots for your four legged friends!
